    All the Cael coaching tree guys coming up. Hope they do better than all the Assistant Coaches under Bill Belechick who got head coaching jobs in the NFL.

    Why? Many of us still remember Danny Gable losing to Larry Owings. Some things never go away... like Ed Banach going for Four titles but Mark Schultz stopping him when he tried for his third. Spencer & his mom's glasses will be there forever.

    Spencer Lee. He is petitioning NCAA for another year of eligibility and to classify last year as a Medical Redshirt because his mother sprained her wrist twisting her glasses and he had to take her to a clinic so could not wrestle back to try for 3rd place.

    You guys are nuts. Using an opponents moves against them takes talent and timing. Just like a counter puncher in boxing. Why penalize a competitor just because they don't do the way you think is right? Backing and moving to set up an opponent is not running from an opponent. It is not running off the mat.

    Ohio State has as many NCAA titles as Iowa over the past decade. Three seconds in that time. Ryan is doing OK.

    Watched a match at Cliff Keen with Teemer of ASU. A lot of backing while setting up his takedowns. As a result was called for stalling a few times. Each time it seemed he shortly used his backing to get a takedown off the opponent initiating a move. Does this style of wrestling really warrant continued stall calls? He was not backing to get away from an opponents moves but to set up his own which he did well each time. Any wiggle room for Referees in this type of defensive counter wrestling?

    Sure it is. 5 is still 4 more than 1. Math is math and Penn State can cipher better than all those other guys put together. Cael is from Utah and learned to count in big numbers to keep track of all the wives and kids in those big polygamous families.
