  1. I was super surprised that Mike Grey had no clue as to what Yianni needed to do to win match one. Yianni was asking him about criteria and Grey had no answer for him. Unforgiveable.
  2. You may have made a mistake. I like PA wrestlers just fine. Some of my favorite wrestlers are from PA. It is PSU that I don't like (and I actually found myself rooting for 3.5 ex-PSU wrestlers this weekend)
  3. I didn't bring up womp rats, because I thought there was no chance anyone else would get it! I'm not the only nerd here!
  4. Honestly, I have had very few issues (not zero) streaming events with Flo over the years. I have more with Amazon Prime. Daisy Jones and the Six crashed on me after the title sequence several times!
  5. Exactly. Keep stuff as simple as possible. I know we are not going to be a major sport anytime soon, but there are people who will watch the sport 1-2x a year and enjoy it. Lets not complicate stuff for those "casuals."
  6. This is more about sitting on an ankle and doing nothing, I believe.
  7. This seems to happen more for Nicky Forfeits than the average wrestler!
  8. The pride of Olean, NY... along with PSU great Jeff Prescott.
  9. I never doubted you, just stating what I heard yesterday.
  10. FRL claimed they are going by weight order. Obviously this could be changed.
  11. And Mineo was already working his cowardly "delete when I'm wrong strategy." Someone asked about NF points. He said, no changes to NF points. Claimed it was the only change that didn't pass "No RT without NF." Poster continued "No there was a proposal to bring back 3NF" Minnow: "No. Only thing dealing with NF didn't pass, and that was the RT rule." A couple minutes after Flo published an article Minnow deleted his references regarding "no change to NF" What an expert! Such a squid.
  12. Try to find any internet usage of the term before Mike Grey took what is sometimes called a "gap year" in 0'6-'07...
  13. P.S. Despite a losing record, Gholar was considered somewhat of a stud in very early MMA. Just recently Bas Rutten brought up Gholar's name on the JRE podcast. I was thinking "there's a name that I haven't heard in a bit!' Rutten and Rogan both commented on what a stud Gholar was. https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Darrell-Gholar-213
  14. OK. Thanks for bringing this up. Great documentary on the American Gladiators. Dann Carr, who is from Erie, PA, is most certainly not related to Nate, Jimmy, Solomon, etc. However, in episode 2, as they are trying to track down Dan Carr, the crew goes to Erie Tech. They ask an administrator if he knows who Dan Carr is. The admin says something about "One of the wrestlers?" to which the documentarian replies "no." This administrator is certainly referring to the Carr family that we are all familiar with, the most prolific medal winning family in NCAA Div 1 history.
  15. Cornell alum and head coach Mike Grey disagrees with SI, USA Today, and SB Nation (whatever that is.)
  16. I believe that many of our posters are actually incorrectly spelling the term "greyshirt," especially when dealing with Cornell wrestling.
