  1. It has nothing to do with far back anyone goes. There is a false assumption that you can tell what someone juicing looks like. Lance Armstrong was on endogenous testosterone, HGH, and a ton of other PEDs. He didn't look like a classic "juicer", right? And I only have to go as far back as "Icarus"...
  2. I have used it circa 2007 and even taught it in the past, before the various rulings from NFHS and others. However, that was before I became an official. In my advanced age, I realize that a lot of it's effectiveness is due to the fact that it is a blood choke. I realize there are pretty good reasons when the NFHS and even PA officials release rulings.

  4. Before, during, and after the Taylor match, Nickal looked like he was part of someone else's plan that he was not particularly happy with. This followed his very joyful spanking of Zahid. I don't think he was part time. He made OTT finals, but that was as far as he was being allowed to go...
  5. PA, a state known for allowing tough wrestling advises their refs to never allow it even get to the "end point." It almost always becomes a choke, at least if applied in the manner that it is generally taught.

  7. The Kueter one was repeating a baseless rumor that was appearing here and on GIA. Minnow wanted to seem "in the know." I can see the Cassioppi one possibly being a joke, but who knows? Regardless, don't do that to a high school kid and his family.
  8. ... and I think they were in Iowa this past weekend.
  9. Yes. Could have easily been faked. There has also been some doubt placed upon his "texts" with Larry Lee last year.
  10. Referenced earlier in the post. Basically: 1. Minnow made multiple posts in the past month about how Nagao accepted Iowa's offer and was going to be a Hawkeye 2. Nagao commits to PSU 3. Minnow claims that he knew it was PSU all along, and he was setting Iowa fans up to be disappointed. His sycophants accept this ridiculous excuse, emboldening him. 4. Minnow picks up on a rumor from this board and the Iowa forum. He comes out and says 18 year old high school senior Kueter has told Brands that he will not wrestle and play football only if the Ferraris come to Iowa. 5. Kueter's mom is made aware of this post and puts out her own post saying the story is BS. 6. Minnow and sycophants think it is hilariously funny that mom got involved and that Iowa fans bought what he claims is another "satire" from the great satirist Pat Mineo. So basically he went with fake news he found on a forum, which is bad enough... or made up a story involving a high school kid. I imagine that story did not make the Kueter family very happy, and may have unnecessarily complicated their lives for a day.
  11. And him saying that Kueter going 100% football if Ferraris enroll is now 'sarcasm, satire, a joke' and people who believed him are dumb and don't understand satire. That is a couple recent false tweets/lies/bogus stories that he has passed off as a joke. How can anyone ever take him seriously? The worst part may be the recent lie was about a high school kid. Minnow is scum.
  12. Yeah! You just see these top NFL TE's and they all seem to be 6'4"+
  13. Tight End certainly makes sense for an kid of his skills at that program. 6'3" does seem a tad short though. I am far from a Minnow fan to start with, but I think including a high school kid in one of his false posts is pretty low, but was overshadowed by all the other stuff that is going on.
  14. I thought he was primarily a LB? His mom has publicly refuted Minnow's classless "breaking news" that Kueter was going to focus on football (and give up wrestling) because he despises the Ferraris.
  15. Obviously the guy is a jerk. At what point did I ever say I liked the guy or approved of what he said? I said PSU athletics have been involved in far worse things, and should remember this when coming up with nicknames for buildings in Iowa. Then again, you don't even believe the stuff you post.
  16. I wasn't interested in defending the donor whatsoever. I was referring to the fact that the PSU faithful are coming up with derogatory nicknames for the new facility. It would be easy to do the same with various buildings on the PSU campus, but with less flattering names than "Eviction Dome." Also, I think we may differ on the geopolitics part...
  17. No, I'm saying that PSU fans who root for an athletic program largely built on the gridiron successes of the enabler of a child rapist probably shouldn't be so quick to cast stones. This is not exactly geopolitics we are talking about. And for the record, I do not hate PSU wrestling so much as the cultish devotion and hypocrisy the program inspires. Every time I hear Nico, RBY, Nick Lee, Jason Nolf, Mark Hall, Max Dean, and some others talk, I am very impressed. I love watching Nolf wrestle. David Taylor is one of my all-time favorites.
  18. Let's not talk about showers on a board that often talks about PSU athletics. It would probably also be a different story if Chittum actually wrestled at Iowa before leaving.
  19. PSU fans have ZERO stones to throw when talking about athletics programs being associated with terrible people. Probably should just be dropped...
  20. That was after he was supposed to graduate at 19, but then "reclassified" so that he graduated in December instead of June, correct?
