Legal action is literally never the best way to deal with predators especially ones that target children, law enforcement knows about these guys and have done nothing , and hell nothing will happen if law enforcement makes a move , a teacher in my town was arrested for being a serial predator for years , even posing as a 12 yr old victims father and forcing her to get an abortion and this career predator who was tied to ruining the lives of 8 different little girls got 4 years in prison , served a little over 2 and half and got out , meanwhile same town 19 year old kid with no record hits an illegal alien riding a bicycle the wrong way with no lights on the highway and because he blew a .06 he got 10 years and had to serve 7 and half ..and these kind of people know the law isn’t against them

I gave them props as an up and coming team a few ago in the program on the rise thread and after a pretty good midlands Tim Flynn and co made me look good even with one of their tops guys Strickenberger going 0-2 WVU showed why they have a good future , 141 Jordan Titus was dominate throughout including Teching AA Composto in the finals 149 true freshman Ty Watters made the finals as the 7 seed with 3 pins, a major and a Dec over Webster before running into a red hot Whalen in the finals , 165 Peyton Hall got back on track after an uneven start to the season by bonusing his way to the finals including a 1st period pin over Fish , hall got worked by hamiti in the finals but that’s always gonna be a top match up for hall 174 - freshman Brody Conley went 6-2 with 4 bonus wins and a mff to place 5th pretty good weekend from the young guys , all 5 mentioned will be back next year and will be joined by another strong recruiting class

So you use my very specific post about where I grew up to take a shot at the Boy Scouts, Catholic Church and Italians ? The Bergen coaches did nothing wrong , the kid who filed the complaint and his dad are psychos , the kid tried to injure his competition on the team multiple times, the father broke into the school and tried to rig the scale so his sons oppponent would miss weight for a wrestle off and the father almost lost his license to practice law because of all the BS in the lawsuit , how the hell does any of what you said correlate to the OP civil legal action ? Lobby states to pass laws? You mean lobby the same politicians who protect epsteins client list like it’s their daughters virtue ? Yea I believe he runs a very strict dry program ( heard that’s why Alvarez and Noto ended up leaving) but it was a process to get them like that , better then Frank Beasley when he took over GMU ..He had undercovers in the bars catching kids drink in the off-season so he could cut them and free up spots for his guys and pulled some questionable moves to get around that time

Agreed on this and also if Darrion Caldwell doesn’t get into a freak Rollerblading accident Dake might only be a 3x and as a bonus we wouldn’t have had to watch the most boring ncaa final ever , Dake riding frank molinaro like a merry go round pony for 6 and half minutes

Much easier to be a 4xer ? Spencer Lee got pinned by guy who didn’t even win ncaas and has like 4 loses already this year and Yianni was losing in the 3rd period of the ncaa semis to a freshman that had 7 loses and needed 2 huge comebacks just to make the semis

When I made this post the 2 teams I had in mind were WVU and Navy , I was hoping someone would bring up navy .Kolat has done a great job and even though a military academy is always going to have a ceiling in terms of how good they can be compared to Big 10 schools I could see Kolat eventually having a NC and competitive dual teams year in and year out

Stanford has looked great so far , Provo, Cardenas, Norman they have a really solid young core to build on

Lol from everything I’ve heard the issues with wrestlers out partying in Morgantown is at an all time low, you re never going to get every athlete to live a clean life at WVU but I think Flynn is doing a solid job ..hell 10-15 years ago I used to go down to WVU to visit a former teammate ( he was a career backup) and the night before matches you could find half their starters at the bar and another few doing keg stands at a house party

Seen a lot of negativity on the forum lately and always the talk of what coaches need to be replaced so I figured we could use a positive post , programs going in the right direction my vote goes to Tim Flynn and West Virginia , Flynn had been ok so far fixing the absolute mess that was WVU wrestling. Flynn has had a an AA for 4 straight years If you count Noah Adams 2nd place the no tournament season- Adams 2020, Cardinale 21, Hall 22 , Cardinale 23. Recruiting has been on the rise and they now have a pretty competitive Dual team . Former #1 Recruit Jordan Titus is much improved at 141 , True Freshman and 2x Pa State champ Ty Watters has been strong 10-2 with a 67% bonus rate , another high level recruit from PA coming in next season in Rune Lawerence , plus throw in transfer ,last years NJCAA national champ Jett Strickenberger who already has wins over AA kaylor, R12 Poulin and NQ owens in his first month competing D1 and this could be WVU best year in a long time they currently have 3 guys who will be in the mix to AA ( Strickenberger, Titus, Hall) 2 other Freshman who have a shot to break through ( Watters and Conley) and 4 other guys who should be NQ. things are looking solid in Morgantown

No idea last I heard he of him he was on his dads staff at the high school they all went too (Camden catholic) coaching his youngest brother but that was a few years back , his brother chad 2x AA for rider is on the rider staff I believe
