  1. No that was just in a newspaper article , the only thing I’ve seen from police is that he was in alley talking to 2 kids when the 16 and 15 yr old came up shot and robbed him
  2. Agreed , he d have Jim Jordan down there doing damage control sweeping it under the rug
  3. In my world which the world we all live in ( unless willie tapped into the mars wrestling market when he took over) people can say anything they want , if it’s untrue Sasso probably could sue him , I’m a firm believer that anyone can say what they want bc this is America after all…mr Joey ward can post all he wants , you can post about how much of a clown he is for posting it , I can sit in the middle and agree with both your rights to post whatever the hell you want . Ward can think it’s some shady stuff gone wrong , you can think he ran over a rat,got out the car to look at it and then was randomly car jacked and shot, either way it doesn’t change my opinion of the situation, I hope Sammy comes back 100 percent bc by all accounts he’s a great guy and goes out of his way to be kind to the young fans and I hope who shot him rots in prison who determines what true or not , you? Other random internet people?
  4. Do you have proof any of it is half truth or false ?
  5. I mean it’s right to say what he believes to be true, it’s both America and social media
  6. No I don’t I don’t know anymore then the average Joe on the situation which is why I didn’t link it, you were questioning why Joey ward posted it , I would bet he believes it’s true so he put the info out there , he even mentions the nil thing , so if he really believes it to be true for whatever reason why should he have to keep it to himself
  7. I mean people are donating 1000s of dollars to his go fund me , he’s probably going to get a sweet NIL deal from the situation, so I would argue that when the wrestling community (not known for being wealthy sport) are donating hard earned money to a cause that the truth is very important
  8. I’m not going to link it , but it’s on his social media a few weeks back , upset quite a few people
  9. Being from Ohio I just figured he’s probably plugged in with someone familiar with the situation to say stuff like that , either way my opinion doesn’t change, I hope Sasso comes back 100 percent and hope the people that shot him are locked up a long time but who knows
  10. Idk but he lives in Ohio and is more plugged in then most of us , also seems like a ridiculous claim to make if he’s just making it up out of thin air, pretty sure that kind of claim could get him sued if he’s just making it up…..idk I was curious about all of y’all opinion , seems a more likely situation, then running over a rat and getting shot
  11. Not going to post a link to it bc idk if it’s accurate but y’all can look for yourself , but did anyone happen to see what Joey Ward (AA for NC) posted about this whole situation a few weeks back
  12. I guess , but Howard wasn’t actually retiring , nor did Rau or Gable after they did it so they are all pretty corny if you ask me
  13. Yes 3 years ago when he was a 18 yr old true freshman , wrestling during Covid shortened season with one arm lol now he has 2 healthy arms (hopefully) and spent the last few years learning and training with Thomas Gilman and RBY , oh and some guy named Cael , idk why you seem so triggered by my prediction
  14. Too be fair Nicky skeletor might have been rolling around when he said that , Suriano was trying to wrestle on that broken ankle
  15. Cael said in the off-season that Robbie will get all his eligibility back and still has 4 years , so idk if that’s Cael just knowing the system or if they received conformation or what but Cael isn’t known for just randomly spouting bs so I’ll take him at his word
  16. Lol I was in the building for that , it was pretty corny thing to do
  17. In all fairness , howard dealt with injuries , I don’t remember those guys being hurt, he’s more on the Micheal Kemerer 7 year plan
  18. Indeed it’s a unique situation, at least he was young when he arrived at college (17/18) and not like Chittum whose like 22 already
  19. Sir I can assure you I used lock correctly , as in if his shoulder is good and he doesn’t reinjure it then he’s a lock to AA , I think it’s a sure thing he’s on podium if healthy
  20. His only year wrestling was the 2020 Covid shortened season, which was a free year , he used his redshirt the next season then medical redshirt after , he has 4 years of eligibility left
  21. Robbie howard is still considered a Redshirt Freshman and will be 125 for penn state , if he’s fully recovered it’s a lock he ll AA
  22. Not surprised to see Cornell has locked down all wealthy white people sports
  23. Ok i love micahs game but the man has a lot of work to do to be the “best player in the nfl” as he’s not even the best defensive player in the NFL …but James Franklin mentioned last week talking about parsons that he was the biggest supporter of the wrestling program in the whole school, went to every single home match , and asked Cael if he could join the team when football season was over at one point….Franklin shut that down Bo came out in an interview a few years back and said he wrestled with Parsons during college and that he was legit , he just didn’t have the stamina but for that 1 minute he was as tough as anyone Bo wrestled I get your point but I don’t think not having enough youth wrestlers is the problem , I think it’s retention that’s the issue ..every year where I’m from (North Jersey) our youth program is stacked ,60-100 kids on any given year , most starting young 6-9 but by the time they hit high school the numbers really thin out for a multitude of reasons , the biggest being this flawed concept kids should only focus on one sport , a lot of personal trainers , club team coaches for all sports put that thought in parents heads and a lot of the time wrestling is the sport that gets ditched , when in reality wrestling is going to help you at least say in superior shape for the other seasons Irvington High school ( inner city school next to Newark) implemented an interesting policy a few years back , the football team was on the rise and the new head football coach (former wrestler) made a policy that if u want to play football for Irvington you need to wrestle for at least one year (exceptions for the star basketball players) and the policy worked great , it helped the football team and the wrestling numbers and team success went way up ,( the graduation rates went way up for athletes and they had alot less off the mat issues, as Irvington is a high crime and gang area ) with in a few years you started to see them with all these state qualifers at the upper weights , 15 years ago you wouldn’t even know they had a team …obviously Covid and “online schooling” messed up alot , especially in the inner cities and irvington struggled the past 2 years with a multitude of issues , most of which brought on by outsider interference (govt. and unions) but this policy definitely worked , it brought more big time athletes to sport, kept alot of young men out of trouble and off the corners , I wish more inner city schools would look to Irvington as a blueprint bc it’s helps the sports and the kids
