A lot of his matches are like that one, he had some weight issues mid season , sat out a few duals ,wrestled 133 a few but he looked great at big 12s especially day 2

He was Juco national champ last year beating former top Oklahoma state recruit Jakson Burks in the finals , his first match for WVU he beat Kaylor who then went and beat Ayala pretty soon after that, he’s a real big 125 and is always trying to score , pretty tough on top too

Ayala is going to lose to Strickenberger Thursday night

Tough quarter for O toole, Hall is the 9 and I expect him to beat Taylor and he always wrestle otoole tough , had him on the ropes this year and blew it lost like 7-6

Tj Stewart looked the best he ever has at ACC, surprised but glad he went 184 (he was 195 in hs) but he seems so quick and athletic down at 184 I could see him placing high in 2 weeks

Seems Robin from WVU (184) got screwed a bit ,according to Kyle bratke Robin majored Hopkins and was ahead of him in coaches rank and RPI and Hopkins also lost to Robin backup this year , and Negron lost 2 someone Robin beat multiple times and negron lost to multiple non starters and both got in over Robin

And possibly give up less

I haven’t seen this many ignorant posts in one thread since the Covid madness days on the old forum ,Brooks seems to be more at peace with life then 99 percent of the people you’ll ever meet and yet a bunch of grown ass men sitting around a wrestling forum anonymously hating on him and deciding what he should be permitted to say or what the approved topics are , like damn you are the ones that should be listening the closest to Aaron , if that ruffles your feathers maybe it’s time for a little self reflection. what’s crazy is if any of you complainers confronted brooks and said what you re saying here to his face he probably wouldn’t even get upset , he would calmly explain his perspective and then pray for you , like literally with all his heart pray for you and yours and some of you jabronis would still be smug and walk away thinking you re opinion is superior

They have comparable results , Bastida has like 9 more matches but Kerk bonused the Eiwa champ twice , beat the ACC champ , beat the big 10 runner up 2x, beat Davison and teched Wyatt at at the all star in like 4 minutes (the guy Bastida needed a last minute takedown to beat,they may not count the all star but coaches won’t forget that performance I believe they are on 2 different levels , just look at their comparable results

I’m picking the only guy in the field who is already a national champ Jett Strickenberger , wrestled back for 3rd, peaking at the right time and as someone on here pointed out last night white guys with corn rows have been unstoppable in the ncaa finals the past few years (O Conner , Suriano)

Hopefully it’s just a tweak , he’s a really good dude hopefully he can go out healthy
