  1. He was a true freshman, and competed at a pretty high level. IMO of course, I think he is tough and could possibly AA this year.
  2. It is going to be really hard to recover, I am sure they will....BUT Leonard did not do the university any favors. They should have just kept Lou at this point, but hey, what do I know.
  3. So sad what that Oklahoma class could have been.
  4. at the end of the day, I think he ends up at Iowa. There could be an argument made, he might be better off if he could go off on his own. Both his brothers have proven to be complete knuckle heads, where Angelo to this point has been a great kid. Anthony has had issues at every single place he has been, ALL OF THEM. OKIE ST was miserable with AJ in the room, and there was tension for sure. Who knows maybe they all grow up and shit ends great? I know his dad, and he is a tough but fair dude. Let's see it all plays out.
  5. Ferrari is going to end up at Iowa in my opinion. NO WAY Brands let's Chittum walk due to Anthony if he didn't think he was getting little bro. That is my two cents anyway....
  6. Well then he is going to Va Tech, them dudes rented a Ferrari for his pics
  7. love Mizzu, you guys just got a good one this past week from Oklahoma!
  8. Scott is one helluva dude, I have known him for 10+ years and watched Zan since he was a little kid. GREAT people, and LOYAL people. I know several schools reached out and wanted Zan to visit, but they stayed loyal. The way that OU handled this whole HC search and the hiring and getting Kish on board has been horrible. Zan can go pretty much anywhere he wants, and I hope they will consider going somewhere else I am a die-hard OU fan. Wherever he goes, it will need a strong RTC because he wants to make a world team one day. Zan deserved MUCH better than how OU treated him. Again, make no mistake, other schools have been on him since his commitment to OU and he never went back on his word.
  9. He asked for his release. He is looking...could end up there anyway, but I know they are not happy
  10. Anyone see the tweets from Milholf and Woodley ripping Jason Leonard and the admins at OU? Holy $hit, they ran over Leonard big time.....
  11. The bad part about all of this is that I was told from a very reliable source that Coleman wanted this job, BAD. His inlaws are from OKC and it is time for a move. I heard a few names already that he wanted on the staff. I also heard Mark Perry softly put his name in, but then seen the shit show and was not really wanting it.
  12. There are issues that run deep over there, lots of them. Boosters are controlling, or trying to control a lot of the decisions. That is why it has been a roller coaster of "Koll is in" "Koll is out" "Nickerson is on campus" "they are not going to offer Nickerson" "coleman is throwing his hat in the ring" "Boosters don't want a cowboy running the program" My good friend, his son is a big time recruit for OU, and has signed. BUT, they have been left in the dark on who the coach was going to be. Heflin is the new coach, then they ghosted him and interviewed Kish and then here we are. I don't think he necessarily wants to leave for sure, but he wants to talk to other schools. I understand the rules, but why not let the kid look around? Is it a good thing to force this? I know I wouldn't
  13. Can OU really block these Lou recruits from de-committing from OU? Minnow is reporting this right now.
  14. prolly wont wrestle, will go right into MMA. Great kid
  15. Spratley will be the 125lbr for Okie State
  16. Buchanan and Henson are both NIL's
  17. I was told Heflin is going to be offered the job.
  18. I am going to try and find out this AM what is going on.
  19. If Heflin is announced, this program is done. He is a nice guy, but he has no idea how to run a program. Recruiting visits could not even be coordinated, complete chaos. They have F'd this thing up badly....At first it was, we are only taking a HC because we want an experienced coach. That cut most the best candidates. Then it was, OK, I guess we will call Kendric, he told them to F off. Now, it is settling for an asst coach that was already elevated too high in his position. Whoever said it, might be right. With the move to SEC, they may shut this thing down and get rid of it. It sure does not seem there was a ton of time and effort put into this thing. Justin Leonard needs to get in the unemployment line.
