  1. Well, I would say, sucking your balls off once is much different than living there for a complete season. We shall see....I could very well be wrong. I know I didnt think Blankenship was gonna make 125, I thought no way...and here we are.
  2. When Williams was in the Collinsville room, he was back and forth 157/165, and granted he was not cutting hard to 157 his JR year. He struggled last year making 149, but Smith was making him make 149 at most duals, even though he was not wrestling. I know he struggled a lot to make it. BUT his body as adjusted, and maybe 149 is better for him now. I would see a better chance of him trying to rank at 157 vs 141....just my two cents. I will gladly eat crow if he is starting at 141 this year.
  3. ZERO and I mean ZERO % chance Jordan Williams will go 141...did I say ZERO? ZERO.
  4. Spratley is a stud, you are going to be quite happy with his results. He has a mean streak in him too, he is tough as hell. I was told he was beating McKee in the room
  5. WOOAAAHHH I did not see that one coming. 133?
  6. I agree. I watched him in highschool, and he beat some really good kids. I don't know how his recruiting went, but i don't think there was a ton of folks on him were there? He is a tough dude fo sho
  7. in the beginning Zan did not want to stay in Missouri, he wanted to get away, but not too far. OU gave Zan a lot of love, and he was offered a sweet deal. It was not long before ALL major colleges were calling him, wanting him to decommit and come to their school. OU was in a good spot, because like I said, they jumped on him early. The family was as loyal as you could get, Scott would not want his phone number given out. I know this was a stressful situation and when things went south at OU, Zan took another look around. Mizzu's success speaks for itself, Wisky was nice because of the partners and I know pops loved Illinois. Byrd and Webster would have been great partners. Ultimately you will not find a better kid than Zan, hard worker, and does not get into all the extra stuff off the mat. He wants to fight one day, but right now he wants to win a natty and make a world team. As an OU fan, him leaving hurt.....but I totally understood.
  8. that was a major part of his decision. He loved Illinois too, he and Webster are good friends. Zan plans on fighting after college. He will push for a starting position, but I think his pops hopes for a RS year to develop.
  9. the other thing Gillman talked about, was how PSU taught him how to manage his weight, well if I remember right, told him to eat and not try to stay down. At Iowa he said he tried to keep his weight down all year.
  10. I think you would have to admit Gillman is better at PSU than he was at Iowa, right?
  11. good point, but you also make a good point on training. Again, no dog in the fight here, Brands is a great coach and Sanderson is a great coach.
  12. I am not a PSU fan by any means, but could one argue PSU has elevated Gillman to a better wrestler than he was at Iowa?
  13. 100% he was really good, but I agree. He got handled in the finals of super 32 too his JR year. He didn't get beat my a slouch by any means, but Haines has jumped levels since then.
  14. I think that is what he wanted to do, disrespect Penn St. He even called them out, and said he wanted to beat PSU. Good for wrestling in my opinion.
  15. let's wait and see how good of true coaching job he can do. Ferrari set him back a few years, IMO. That room was toxic, and nobody got a long. There were a couple of starters that were talking about portaling, but they didn't. I could see Thompson being much like Ferrari in the way of trouble. IF that happens, lets see how John handles it.
  16. yes sir, he wrestled at our highschool for a year and I knew he was special. I agree, I would bet money he AA's for sure....
  17. for what it is worth, and also understanding it is just practice, but I am told Spratley looks "really really good" going live with Fix.
  18. No sir, started in Illinois, went to CBC and went back to Civic Memorial HS Bethalto, IL and graduated
  19. two things here 1) he, Anthony had an only fans for awhile, I could see some truth that he scammed someone and they posted this...2) I feel HORRIBLE for Angelo. As much of a ***duck duck goose** up the two older brothers are, Angelo has never did anything to warrant being associated with those two...but cursed with brotherhood. Now, when you are around that your whole life, chances are you head down idiot road as well, but damn I hope he doesn't. Anthony is the absolute worst of them all, and that is saying something. He has been kicked out of EVERY school for stealing, all of them. Then there is the taking a $hit, and smearing it all over the walls after the Broken Arrow duals....that kid is heading for prison. I hope I am wrong about that as well, but he has been a wreck for several years.
  20. Wasn't Zerban an Illinois move in? moved in CBC and moved back to Illinois his SR year? or am I crossing that up?
  21. I have no idea what he was walking around at last year. Maturity, learning how to lift etc is always a game changer for incoming freshman.
  22. Heading to OU? This kinda shocks me, I thought with them landing Hidley, he would stay
  23. hopefully he progresses in the Iowa room, he certainly was not at OU.
