  1. When did he file, with whom? You seem to know more about this than anyone.
  2. Actually the Chael stuff came first..
  3. Amazing number of posters confusing the Sooners and the Cowboys on various boards and social media!
  4. LOL well, he was clearly using a banned substance that he received a somewhat suspicious TUE for late in his academic career. That much is true. The issue is going to be with somehow screwing up his paperwork for U23. He was using a PED at UWW U23 that he was not cleared for at the time. That is problematic.
  5. To wrestle him like China did, RBY would actually have to shoot. Check his score against their common opponent from the pan am tournaments. Better yet, watch the match. RBY knew where he stood vs Gilman, just like Gilman knew where he stood vs Lee. Both got as far away as they could.
  6. Nothing before or since. However, I for one have difficulty believing that a model athlete such as Angle would touch PEDs. Too much integrity and intelligence.
  7. Cleared for OTT, by US. The same groups that Chael claim "swept Kurt Angle's hGH positive under the rug."
  8. It has happened in Judo, too. On at least one occasion the Iranian disregarded the policy and fought the Israeli. He has not returned home.
  9. Aj Ferrari and company. (and Tervel Dlagnev, very good college heavyweight but wouldn't say a "legend." Great international career and doing well coaching)
  10. Mixed in with a lot of excited schoolgirl/fanboy giggles!
  11. 180 is the new 57 kg, but only if weigh ins are in Serbia. All kidding and suspicion aside, I find it very difficult to believe that there was actual weigh in hanky panky in a room full of other 57s.
  12. You might be right! I just remember it being a knock in the past, my apologies to all if he has improved his top game.
  13. The same guy threatened to roll the tanks into Paris! Real tanks, not Abdulrashid Saduleev!
  14. Take a lesson from Nick Lee, hold off Moose early---do not try too hard to get your own scores. Poor Nick.
  15. I can see the difficulty in that situation, but I do think Woods and Alirez respect one another. Is Woods going to continue to compete in wrestling, or is he going to put his Stanford degree to good use in cage fighting?
  16. I'm not sure if Zain, internationally, has been considered great on top. Actually this was a criticism about him for a while. Such a stud collegiately, but unable to get the turns in freestyle. Yes, Zain got a couple turns this weekend, but it honestly would not surprise me if you told me that Lee has scored more points in international tournaments from top in the last six months (three tourneys: Farrell, Pan Am, Last Chance) than Zain has scored over his entire international career. In fact, Zain's most noteworthy par terre attempt up until now may have been the lace where he pinned himself. I am all in for Zain medaling, I just think he is going to have to score a majority of his points on his feet after wearing the opposition down.
  17. Add UCLA and Notre Dame to this list (amongst others)
  18. I mean "someone's brother in law" has got to 100% the best answer here. Are there any current PSU coaches that aren't someone's brother in law?
  19. A kid? He will be 24 a month from tomorrow. A 23 year old kid. That "kid" has no problem bashing others... that is a lot of what is being spoken about here.
