    Fun fact: Taylor wrestled Kennedy's sister in 8th grade. He was terrified of her because she had a mean headlock and was a girl. Very scary for a prepubescent boy. Taylor won by fall. Years later, he married the girl with the mean headlock.

    Here's a complete guess with no basis in reality, other than they grew up as really close friends/training partners: Logan Stieber to Oklahoma State. (My guess is he is too tight with everyone at the other OSU, but would be very interesting!)

    NCAA rules knownothing! I was a very "low man on the totem pole d2 and d3 coach", decades ago and I know way less now than I did then, I'm sure!

    I don't think Steibler went to St. Paris, just did some summer training with them. Went to Monroeville. Heil St. Eds? NaTo CVCA for sure.

    Yes it is all very weird. I hope he is our man in Paris (and wins gold), and I hope nothing funky happens to the NCAA results. Just something that occurred to me!

    I think Fix's suspension was retroactive, which is one of the reasons I posted.

    I think it is fine with NCAA if you have TUE, however I think it is possible that if you are disciplined by the governing body of your sport then the NCAA disciplines you as well? I suppose things could get very complicated.

    Michalak just announced that he is leaving coaching. Not sure how instrumental he has been in the development.
