  1. If only there was a way to keep your strength up while dieting down...
  2. Lee gets the Hodge if he wrestles anything similar to a schedule and wins out at 125. Gilman is not already coronated World Team member at 57 kg. There is still a process to make the team. Fix or Lee or anyone else has the opportunity to knock Gilman off.
  3. And I don't have any strong feelings on Fix whatsoever; I was just explaining why doping is different than other offenses.
  4. I have looked at several times over the past couple years. You are wrong. You are misrepresenting what the doctor said.
  5. Whoa! Where is the committee's report? Are you speculating on their findings now? tsk tsk Please find and post a link!
  6. But unlike the speeder who continues speeding, a doper may be done doping, however may still be getting advantages from past use. There is that vital difference. There was also speculation that everyone involved agreed to the stupid fridge story because Fix "accepted his punishment" and didn't drag out the process.
  7. Many PEDs over benefits in performance which last well beyond the time you were taking them.
  8. Unless he is wrestling against a high school freshman...
  9. I was pretty much joking, but there have been allegations of deferred payments.
  10. You've got someone's back, you may as well try for an RNC. But I've seen twisting hammerlocks.
  11. His knees would hinder him about as much as Cassar's shoulders and Kerk's knees.
  12. Gable was head coach for 20 years, correct? 152 out of 200 possible all-Americans ain't bad! (If its 152 in 20)
  13. I think he's claiming that he is full go the rest of the season.
  14. 2nd runner-up? I would imagine that, as things are going to supposedly be going forward, that the winner of 125 is the Hodge favorite.
  15. It is highly possible that we have a parent on the board. Also related, Askren was under the impression that Keckheisen was wrestling in the Iowa tournament, because Parker had told him so a few days before.
  16. The Russian style of training also includes some special supplements. I would take every one of their training methods into question as a result. Not to mention "age cheating" at lower levels... Also, the entire makeup of athletics as a whole over there pretty much eliminates doing stuff the way we do it over here. I agree that youth kids and high school wrestle way too many matches, but getting college guys 30+ matches a year doesn't seem so bad. These matches provide data about a wrestler facing an unfamiliar opponent with an unfamiliar feel.
