  1. Someone's feelings are hurt. Keep in mind that his father coaches J'Den and young Eierman is a better college wrestler than a couple of the other Mizzou champs.
  2. /s or [s] is a good way to show that you are being sarcastic. Otherwise, it is going to be taken at face value. When you try to backtrack?
  3. Agree on all points. This may be it for Haines at 157.
  4. ... and this is a major improvement over the last board.
  5. Exactly. Have to be somewhat creative in getting the most out of their talent. They've done it before, but every situation will be slightly different.
  6. Well, if you have Haines, Facundo, Starocci, and whomever else at 165/174,you have at least three high recruits/studs for two spots. You have a limited number of redshirts between these guys. You want to maximize their years of eligibility. I don't care if you say it is a "real' log jam, you need to manage these things.
  7. The D1 clock is still going if you unenroll. unenrolling is the ivy way of getting around their "four years of school, no redshirt policy" that is supposed to prevent abuses. "Unenrolling" should only be helping ivies or other schools with similar policies.
  8. It is an injury in which he never took the field. Maybe the injury from the previous year? There is no "greyshirting" once you enroll at an institution. In fact, your "clock" starts in Division 1, or at least it used to.
  9. I could be wrong, and it was years ago, but I feel that because I had already done enough to graduate in the spring, that I didn't even need to be a full time student in my final semester. I ended up taking a full load and picked up a minor, but I think I was told that I could have taken minimal credits and still wrestled.
  10. People make fun of Iowa and Marinelli, but Marinelli and Dean both graduated high school in 2016. Marinelli is finally done with college, but Dean keeps chugging along... Not to mention that Cam McCormick is only one year older than both.
  11. Speculation that he will be the starter this year in order to preserve his redshirt and give PSU more flexibility in the future because of a potential upcoming logjam at 165, 174. Maybe 184 too?
  12. Did they even have an actual committee that far back?
  13. So, if Scott Moore had been allowed to wrestle in NAIA that year, he would have won the Hodge?
