  1. Not a chance he is preseason #1, weight has a lot of returning talent , Lovett (ncaa finalist) SVN (returning 3rd and took yianni down to the wire) , Parco (3x AA) , Maueller 3x AA , Henson (AA) , Abas (AA) ,Possibly moving up is 2022 AA CJ Composto who RS last year, and who knows if Paneiro Johnson will be eligible …so no way you can have him 1 with all that returning talent, wouldn’t be surprised if he’s top 3 by the end of the year though
  2. Clarion is light years ahead of Bloomsburg who has fallen off a cliff since Stutzman left , schools only 2 hrs apart with similars issues
  3. You re 100 percent correct , completely forgot he pulled the redshirt late , he would’ve AAed
  4. Streak most likely would’ve ended in 2020 had the tournament not been cancelled
  5. Kurt angle wrestled with a broken neck , cox has a sprained ankle lol
  6. Kurt angle wrestled with a broken neck , cox has a sprained ankle lol
  7. Twisted ankle? Guy was walking around like his foot got amputated…and he didn’t even try to compete with just a bum ankle? That’s wild I would’ve thought he blew out his knee or something
  8. Jason Tsirtsis had a unique path to AA , went 4-2 en route to a 7th place finish with a point differential of -1 1st Rd- W 2-1 Tie breaker 1 over Dane Robbins (Air Force) 2nd Rd- W 4-3 over Ryan Deakin (Northwestern) quarters- L 7-4 Ronnie Perry (Lock Haven) Blood Rd- W 4-3 over Jared Degan ( Iowa State) Coni Quarters- L 3-1 Grant Leeth (Missouri) 7th Place W 2-1 over Boo Lewallen ( Ok.State) total number of points for- 17 total number of points against 18 Tsirtsis also only scored 15 total points in 5 Wins combined on his way to winning the title in 2014 allowing only 7 points in the process , James English is the only person to score offensive points and more than 1 against him (3)
  9. That wasnt a true Cornell finger lakes gap year if I recall correctly wasnt he originally committed to Lehigh then switched to Cornell?
  10. Wyatt Henson to lock haven big get for them , hopefully Henson finally finds his home
  11. I don’t think Amos has shown his an AA guy yet and heavyweight lost parris but returns AAs Cass,Kerk , Hendrickson , Davison , Schultz, Elam , Nevills return , Slavikouski was R12 plus Feldman and Pitzfer , maybe Caroll as well, how many of those guys are you picking Amos to beat
  12. Yea definitely going to see some youth , Stornilio has shown he can recruit and develop talent , so while they did lose a tremendous amount of talent this off season and this dual season they may finish last in the big ten they’ll be back .. another way to look at it is Davison in his 6th or 7th season , D’Augustino 6th year ( and been treading down) so they were supposed to be gone already , losing 2 years of cannon is tough but they still got 4 years out of him
  13. Tal-Shahar Has 7 or 8 wins over AAs the past 2 seasons I’d say he’s got a shot and Chumbley will be in the R12 at worst
  14. I think it would have been a down to the wire race that would’ve been settled with Hall Kemmerer part 3 , Shakur had beaten Warner at big 10s so those 2 guys tournaments would have played a big roll , But who knows , 133 had RBY , Seabass , Gross, Desanto who knows how that ends up , Lugo was the 1 seed but I don’t think many were predicting him to win ( he’d placed 8th once)
  15. I’ve pointed this out like 10 times on this board and the old one but people are stubborn and just like to believe the first thing they heard was the truth
  16. Hudson Skove from Rumson - fair haven NJ , won his 1st state title as the 7 seed in the 2nd deepest weight class in the state , his uncle was national champ for Ohio state , his other uncle was runner up and 4x AA for Oklahoma State and his father and 2 other uncles were good D1 wrestlers , Willie has him ranked #14 at 220 and Flo doesn’t have him ranked at all but he has the pedigree and talent to make some moves up the ranking his Sr. Year
  17. Saw Janzer retired (tough break for him) but haven’t seen anything about Kannaird , don’t think I even saw it on the Rutgers forum
  18. I didn’t realize he committed to Lehigh , he also almost got majored by Cornell recruit Simon Ruiz last year (10-3) who was in hs still , might have to be Kannard
  19. Idk about Gayer , he was absolutely smashed by any top competition he faced and lost to a high schooler last season …maybe they can bring in Hunter Mays from rider , was a pretty good prospect with 3 years left
  20. I’d change a few with NJ 125- with Glory gone you got to go with Eddie Ventresca AA last year or Dean Peterson R12 133- Chris Cannon is 2x AA 141- it’s either CJ composto AA as a true freshman or Alvarez who oliveri couldn’t beat out for a spot 157- is surprisingly possibly Andrew Clark who finished strong , beat paddy Gallagher a few times or maybe Quinn Kinner who may be moving up for his final year 174- Chris Foca, he beat Mekhi in the 3/4 match at ncaas
  21. Zero chance at AAing at 125? Wanna wager on that?
  22. That’s a risk a lot of guys take transferring in to Penn State
  23. Howard is gonna place top 4 this season, remember this post come march …and not really injury prone he kept putting off the shoulder surgery, it was really the same issue , same unhealed shoulder for 3 straight years (that’s now surgically repaired)
  24. I don’t think DeAugustino has ever been title contender at any point in his career Rs year- 8-8 against D1 competition Freshaman- 19-8 against D1- no tournament 1st sophomore - 8-5 against D1 - R12 2nd Sophomore- 15-6 against D1 - 4th Junior yr- 9-9 against d1 - 1-2 DNP Resume doesnt scream title contender
  25. Howard was a barely 18 yr old true freshman in 2021 , Ayala was a 19 year old true freshman in 2022 , they are literally the same age , both wrestled one season and Howard beat multiple guys that year that Ayala lost too , Howard will be 21 this season , which means if he even uses his 4 years he ll still be 2-3 younger when he graduates than Kemmerer , Marinelli , Eierman
