  1. That is one of the most hilariously uninformed quotes you have ever posted.
  2. People have been assuming that for a while. And they are 0-3 in their assumptions.
  3. May 9 - 12 in Istanbul https://uww.org/event/world-og-qualifier-0/news
  4. There is a global last chance qualifier too.
  5. On the flip side Myles Amine was 1-14 against national champs (1-2 vs Brooks, 0-1 vs Ferrari, 0-5 vs Hall, 0-6 vs Valencia)
  6. Indeed, but I think the biggest sting was for Bob Fehrs who lost in the final three times, and each time to Mike Caruso, by a total of 7 points between 1965 and 1967. The 1967 match finished 7-6 with a riding time point being the difference. In 1967, Fehrs had wrestled 130 for most of the year but dropped down to 123 for the tournament specifically to get one more crack at Caruso.
  7. In addition to Goldman, there are two other three time runner ups who lost to a different wrestler all three times. Willard Duffy lost to Rex Peery (1935), Ted Anderson (1936), and Joe McDaniel (1938). Gerry Abas lost to Lincoln McIlravy (1993), Alan Fried (1994), and John Hughes (1995).
  8. I'm all about dragging up the past, but I try to keep it interesting and germane, you know, so it doesn't seem like an obsession.
  9. Man, I take my daughter out to dinner for her birthday and miss all the fun.
  10. Too bad he isn't bigger and older so we could talk about the Rath of Kollin on Captain Kerk.
  11. I remember a time when people would look at that list and come to the conclusion Elon Musk was the problem.
  12. Let me speak to the oneI know something about: Why would the SEC come after Musk? Other than he clearly broke securities laws when pursuing Twitter? And then refused to honor an SEC subpoena regarding this (which is what the suit pertains to)? Anyone doing what he did would receive SEC scrutiny. Anyone.
  13. Turns out you were very clear. I missed the word "why" in the question. He did not, other than the generic "to serve my country in other ways", or some such.
  14. He just announced it today in an OpEd he wrote for the WSJ. He said he is resigning at the end of the month, so yes.
