    It’s not about this year. It’s about attracting high level recruits who want a bigger schedule than what they’ll get at sacred heart or Davidson

    I coach in Illinois. And I agree that Illinois is very good top 5 at worst, but sometimes the self opinion can be.. mildly inflated. I also think that it’s overall cultural is a little too dependent on just collecting the best ikwf kids rather than development and coaching when compared to other states. I like what Poeta is doing. But until he actually nails the north of I-80 kids.. his main avenue is to help develop the talent in the south

    I think that’s why people are wondering if that’s why they were never going to wrestle. If he was hurt before that day he could’ve told them and postponed the wrestle off or just said, hey this won’t be better in time, congrats Kyle. Additionally, depending how long ago he got hurt, another person might’ve been able to wrestle in his place
