  1. Sax decked him their last go-round.
  2. Geez guys, I was obviously joking. Sax made a jump to 149 to 174 the 2022-23 season and this was a play on him still looking 149lbs that season. He still looked small (but long) this year, but I understood before posting this that if he wanted to be 165 this year he would have been. I didn't mean to get you all riled up on a Tuesday.
  3. That gives them four 'true' 165lbers, doesn't it? Nachohouse, Carlson, Picklo and Sax. They need an actual 174lber.
  4. I don't think Bearclaw was on the hook for 197lbs next year, was he?
  5. Bearclaw at 157 =/= the same Bearclaw as this last year. He has grown in to 165lbs (~74 KG) and could even be in consideration for 174lbs if he chose, yeah?
  6. They will have a pretty damn good team even if they don't get either.
  7. This is such a misinformed and out of the loop take, it's hilarious.
  8. I initially would have said Michigan or Iowa State, but they landed their 197lbers.
  9. Drake Maye just got drafted 3rd after doing jack shit his entire college career. The draft should be based off of MFS and MGR potential and not their past results. Also, Plott has another year left. Also, also, it is Davison (there is only one D in his name and it is at the beginning of it).
  10. Dieringer was 79 KG last year. He has only gone 86 KG when 79 KG was not an option.
  11. I think we see Dieringer and Marsteller go 79 KG. If JB/DT hang them up Dieringer might try to see how he does for a couple years being the guy at 79 KG.
  12. Starocci doesn't come close to beating him at any weight in any style.
  13. You're about a month late to the show... nice try, though.
  14. He can, per the same interview with his coach.
  15. Pindrickson is down to "5 or 6 schools" per his coach. https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/12474557-two-time-all-american-wyatt-hendrickson-enters-transfer-portal
  16. They have done a good job of trying to expand. Keep in mind that they were down what... three years due to cobid? There are tweaks that could be made here and there, sure, but to insinuate they don't make effort to give us cool shit isn't accurate. - Dieringer (165lb NCAA D1 Champ) vs David (184lb NCAA D2 Champ) - Many women's matches as well as high school matches For this year alone... - Novak (#1 D3) VS Hertel (#1 D2) at 157lbs this last year. - Truax, Olejnik both transferred and created buzz against highly rated and returning beasts. - Brooks up a weight against the best non-184lber from the year before. - Kerk/Hendrickson in a fire rematch after Hendrickson had dominated his way to U23s. - 125-141 were 'less than' stellar, but 141 fell apart, 133 guys were shells by years end (but everyone thought that match was fire) and 125 was... 125, but every match was awesome this year.
  17. Right. I believe they only have to enter, not have their school chosen, correct? Also, Grad transfers don't have to respect the portal deadline, too?
  18. Fish and Hamiti both have a shirt available.
  19. I might have missed it, but I didn't see an updated one with Parco in it, my man? As an aside for the rest of the gents... What about the smoke (I believe it was even mentioned in this thread) of Teemer going in the portal, too? Who do we think are the major players for Parco, Teemer, Endene (who is a get, mind you), and the rest of the top 33 (or so)? I imagine Michigan is alive for Flynn. Ulrey and Brady for VTech are absolutely 'gets' if they can get to the right room. They are NQ type guys, they just need to be at their optimal weight(s). Slav? Where is he going? If Michigan isn't throwing a bag at Flynn, I imagine they are with Babin or Comacho or even Rini(?) to allow Horvath another year in the room. I hope we see Derracott at UNC. He is a 'get' as well, just been behind Cardenas at Stanford. Janzer is a NQ type talent at 184 or 197, if it is the right room for him. I was hoping to see Indiana's Gilcher in the portal. I wanted him to be able to wrestle with his brother, but Michigan has now gotten Saldate at 157lbs (I was actually hoping to see Saldate venture up to 165lbs, but it appears not).
  20. He would have placed higher than Starocci, Johnny D, and Nicky Skeletor.
  21. You know he's a ***ducking** idiot who has you blocked. Not sure how someone could block you. You're easily Top 3 awesome dude.
  22. A great thing about Ryan is that he isn't afraid to speak his mind and advocate for his wrestlers every single step of the way. Even if he is wrong, he isn't wrong because that is what you do. You defend yours. Fortunately, they have a great staff and he has probably one of the best support networks on the planet that is capable of said support.
  23. First Snyder left for NLWC, then Kerkvliet, then Sasso, then this.
  24. I suggest Chamizo not let the match be close, next time. That will take the refs out of it. That said, when Chamizo was on the right side of 30, he scraped by him at the 2020(1) Olympics, so I doubt he can't not do that.
  25. Already covered this... one or two guys just don't have the testicular fortitude to handle tough wrestling.
