  1. Not necessarily but I’d say odds are yes Edited: maybe not “wealthy” depending on your definition, but at least upper middle class
  2. I do care what you think, but if you’re not interested in sharing your thoughts with the entire board after making declarations that certain actions are racist, no I don’t care to ask you privately
  3. Agree, however it does seem that wrestling, particularly at the elite level, is becoming more and more of a "wealthy" sport. For example last year 3 of the 10 national champs (including one black one) were products of private high schools. This could be yet another barrier to minorities achieving success.
  4. So are we expecting to see AJ wrestling at Soldier Salute?
  5. No idea how to prove this either way but I’d lean worse. Maybe mostly because there are probably less black wrestlers as a % of participants than other sports.
  6. I love that this discussion was happening on Christmas lol
  7. I thought it was interesting Nickal said he hasn’t even been hit yet in an actual fight, so it will be good to see him actually be able to take a punch.
  8. I just listened to the podcast. Did he talk about religion at all?
  9. Why is it a problem? I don’t believe God/Jesus helps with athletic preparation, but as long as public university coaches aren’t preaching it to their athletes (which I don’t know if is happening) and athletes aren’t putting down other religions in NCAA finals interviews (which unfortunately has happened), who cares? Most of the guys that can’t stop taking about religion are some of the best, so whatever helps them, cool. They also tend to be high character individuals…Ferrari of course an exception to that.
  10. https://sports.yahoo.com/aaron-pico-hopes-knows-next-160043034.html
  11. He’s definitely a PSU fan. And I’d bet the one that started this thread is the real one. There is another fake one though
  12. Well I thought the below definition was pretty good, but you complained about people trying to define it, so no I’m not sure what your definition is.
  13. So I take it you’re not going to provide your definitions of race and racism, despite saying taking a picture was racist and criticizing others for providing their thoughts on the definitions?
  14. Honestly I thought about putting this thread in the “Non Wrestling Topics” section, but: 1) It is related to wrestling, as many would argue there is a racism problem in wrestling. Is it moreso than the general population? I’m not sure, but I’d lean yes. 2) The Non Wrestling Topics forum is pretty much all politics. Racism conversations shouldn’t really be about politics…and honestly even as this thread has veered slightly off topic there hasn’t been a ton of political talk
  15. I just wanna hear @Hammerlock3’s definitions of race and racism before the thread gets locked.
  16. So what are the simple definitions of race and racism? If it’s so simple it shouldn’t be hard for you to tell us
  17. I’d give Ferrari a small chance of winning, but you asked who the favorite was, and that’s Brooks next topic.
  18. Also the first 2 guys you listed are currently coaching, just not in college. Of course they have other revenue sources as well.
  19. Agreed, that’s why Cael doesn’t really have his own tree yet. But I was talking about Bobby Douglas.
  20. I thought FRL summarized it well. They took 1 good conference and turned it into 2 bad ones…
