Really good video from Stalemates on Cael's move from ISU to PSU Cayden Henschel, who has over 200k subscribers on his youtube channel while wrestling for D2 Wisconsin-Parkside, has started a podcast with a teammate, although interestingly doesn't seem to be promoting it on his main channel (or referencing his main channel on the podcast). Latest was an interview with Austin Gomez Flo has posted their Keegan O'Toole flofilm as well as a story on Nate Jackson to Youtube

As a wrestler probably but does Cael really have much of a "coaching tree" yet? Which of course the lack of one IMO is partly due to the success his wrestlers continue to have on the senior level.

Pretty sure Swafford actually thought Kemerer was gonna be done for the season. It did kinda seem like he was going to be but things changed, possibly with some influence from Mineo

I'm sure there are plenty of people that make fun of wrestler's constant thanking of God that actually believe in God...they just don't think he/she really cares about wrestling. But I do find some humor in the fact that a wrestler has stated that "the best place to glorify God" is a public state school.

Are Davidson and Duke really considered religious schools? I see they had an "affiliation" at one point, but it doesn't seem like there is much right now. Good call on Campbell and Gardner-Webb though.

Jimmy C thread alert Nagao said he wanted to go to a school where he could "best serve God" It appears these 3 schools are the only religious schools with a D1 wrestling team. Wouldn't one of these be the place where one could "best serve God"?

I don't know if the texts were fake, but given Mr. Lee's twitter activity (which I would be shocked if it wasn't him) it sure seemed like he really did try to recruit the Willits brothers.

I think this is actually a reasonable take from Jimmy, it’s not like he’s saying they should be fired now, so 5 years gives them more time to see if they can close the gap. And I do think Lee will be a really good coach. The question is probably how long he competes for and if he does any assisting during that time. I’d think he probably shouldn’t jump right to HC.

Agree with this. I feel like some people are taking these transfers to mean PSU doesn’t have to offer anything, which is unlikely. I’m not sure how these Iowa “bag” numbers keep getting out but no one knows anything about PSU’s “bags.” I guess Cael knows to tell people not to talk to Mineo

Could be wrong but I was getting the impression from Spencer’s interview that he was more annoyed with the Iowa fans. I can’t imagine he’d expect all love and support from opposing fans (even though the majority did)

What has Mineo’s response to being wrong here been? Did he simply admit he was wrong? Did he say “well I only said it ‘looks like’ Iowa”? Or did he do the “I knew it was gonna be PSU all along and I was just messing with people” thing?
