  1. I think it’s fair to speculate about if the Ostarine had any impact. Although my understanding was it was more for weight cutting wasn’t it? So if he’s not cutting to 57 anymore, may not have much impact.
  2. maybe it's a good thing...and hopefully means that Angelo will go to VT without his brother(s)
  3. FRL brought up a good point that while it may not really be HEW, he does have a lot of miles and isn't exactly super young in wrestling terms anymore.
  4. I would kinda be shocked if Cassioppi ever beats Kerkvliet again, TBH
  5. And how the heck is daddy still the RTC coach after that?? The only explanation IMO is they know it wasn't actually daddy's.
  6. Could have a solid squad this year. Inspired by the Seth Nevills discussion. Projected lineup/rankings from wrestlestat, with some rough point projections by me: 125: #19 Braxton Brown: 25-8 as a RSFR, 1-2 at NCAA's. 3-4 pts? 133: project to DNQ 141: #35 Kal Miller: 18-18 as a true frosh, 1-2 at NCAA's. 2-3 pts? 149: #22 Ethen Miller: 27-9 as a RSFR, 1-2 at NCAA's. 3-4 pts? 157: #21 Michael North: 16-10 as a RSSO, DNQ. 2 pts? 165-184: project to DNQ 197: #7 Jaxon Smith: 23-8 as a RSFR, 2-2 (R12) at NCAA's. 8-10 pts? 285: #25 Seth Nevills: 13-4 in last full season in 2020 at PSU. Seems @nhs67 is high on his potential for this year. I'm not quite that high but could certainly see him at least in the blood round. 6-8 pts? So a total of 24-31 points? 28 was a tie for 20th last year, and 24.5 was 25th. 31 would've been 15th.
  7. Fair enough to agree to disagree, but if we used what I think is FRL's definition of "would you be shocked to see them lose to someone in a lower tier," would you be shocked if Cass lost to either of them?
  8. Good analysis overall but I feel like you threw in a Jimmy Cinnabon troll at the end, as Brooks will still be the favorite at 197. Similarly, if Siebrecht is still in Iowa's lineup, you'd probably need to compare to whoever else they have at 157. But you might have just convinced me that Nevills could be the answer to this question.
  9. Cass and Davison have wrestled 30 times? Didn't Davison used to be smaller? Cass's most recent wins over both of them were in SV so I think putting them together in Tier 2 is fair.
  10. Semantics I guess, but I'd disagree. For example Penn State goes from having a hole at 133 (not that it would have mattered for them to win the title), to having a top 3 or 4 guy.
  11. Shouldn’t you be more comparing to who they would have otherwise started at that weight?
  12. Think Hayden could be a good coach, although I’m a bit surprised he would go so far away with Trent still having eligibility. But wonder if Trent will join him there after next year? Does NDSU have an RTC?
  13. How about vs the entire rest of the country?
  14. what about Oklahoma the same year with Brewer winning the title as a 13 seed?
  15. Yeah on one of the FRL episodes he was on he said that was the bracket where Pat Smith beat Tom Ryan
  16. Ha I did the same thing! Looking up some of the guys, my best guess would be Ben Peterson, whose Wikipedia says he grew up on a dairy farm. Although he would’ve been a good bit bigger than Warren.
  17. Was his brother in any of the other school photos?
  18. Is it true that Byrd is in the portal? If so I assume he entered after the deadline? Or is this a joke and that’s a different kid with the same name?
  19. So Chittum was never offered a scholarship by Iowa? That seems like a pretty important detail for Cody to leave out in his reasoning for leaving.
  20. Yeah, I’m surprised Kueter’s mom apparently addressed the rumor, and to an extent even Ben himself may have. I also think it’s possible Kemerer coming back a couple years ago may have had something to do with wanting to prove Minnow wrong.
  21. I think the Kueter one could have been guessed to be a "joke." But pretty sure saying Nagao to Iowa wasn't...
