  1. Nice... I did too...make that a baker's dozen. I thought the new one was well done and kept the spirit of the original and the book.
  2. The line to see Santa stretched all the way to Terra Haute.
  3. LOL... pretty much the reason why this thread is 23 pages long.
  4. BAHAHAHAHA..... I used the source YOU referenced.... then quoted the definitions directly from your source....now you're complaining about your source.... and changing it.... classic.
  5. Urban dictionary down by 7 with the funk and the pinfall.
  6. The Cambridge Dictionary agrees with me... Planning: The act of deciding to how to do something Considering: Used to mention a particular condition or fact about something, usually a disadvantage.
  7. Very cool .... I also have my original atari... Pitfall was a great one. There are a lot of sites out there with resources.
  8. Full-ride scholarships are not becoming less rare...NIL money is making up the difference so they can give less of a scholarship but cover the cost of full tuition. That's different than a full-ride "scholarship"
  9. Yep... 12 Oregon State 44.5 13 Ohio State 44.0 14 Oklahoma State 38.5
  10. Trying to distance yourself from AJ, but like the orange and black? Wrestling coach got you down for not signing your waiver? Tired of hearing about PSU and Iowa? Get off that ankle ride, quit stalling and order your Beaver wrestling gear. OSU Beaver wrestling with a new line of hoodies and t-shirts. This has been a shameless plug from Idaho. https://oregonstatewrestling23.itemorder.com/shop/home/
  11. Schunke started the last match at 197 for ASU ... they have had 4 different 184 in the last 4 matches...not sure if Montalvo will be back. ASU has had a lot of different lineups the last 5-6 duals. Not sure who they send out Sunday.
  12. Good point... Most likely the top 2 seeds at conference.
  13. I mowed lawns to earn money as a kid, probably helped me with pushing stuff... maybe pushing the pace in a match as well. If the push out rule was around when I was wrestling, the lawn mowing definitely would have been to my advantage. I also played Atari as a kid... the action in teh video games was pretty slow compared to today. I attribute my slowness to that. I feel cheated that the games I grew up on did not prepare me for wrestling as it did RBY.
  14. It's been awhile since the Beavers have beat ASU and last year the tourney was decided by a headgear celebration. Should be a good match-up. ASU has had several different lineups the last few duals. Ive got Oregon State winning a close one and ending the drought. 125 - Kaylor vs Courtney/Figs 133 - Shaner vs McGee 141 - Belton vs Vasquez - Interesting match up since Belton transferred out of ASU 149 - Gurr vs Parco 157 - Crosby vs Wilner 165 - Olguin vs Negron 174 - Olmos vs Valencia 184 - Munoz vs Montalvo 197 - Harvey vs Fagan/? HWT - Dixon vs Schultz
  15. Yes... remove Penn State and Iowa and replace them with Wyoming and Oklahoma.
  16. I wouldn't disagree with that... they haven't earned the right to duck yet. If they are not wrestling D1 starters or guys with a decent ranking, they aren't getting the quality wins they need to get the qualification.
  17. How many of those wins were against starters? It seems smaller schools with lesser known names are ready to scrap much more than larger schools with wider known names. Nothing to lose I expect. It would be interesting to see which schools have had the most top 8 ranked wrestlers skip or "duck" a match.
  18. The schtick that you pretend to be lots of things and they end up contradicting each other.
  19. That's a good question.... they had a good thing going there for awhile and all the sudden this year the wheels are coming off. I am an Oregon State guy, so I might not be the best guy to ask, even though they are my next door neighbors.
  20. My understanding is that the kid came back to his home school. Like many states, when you combine the inconsistent application of eligibility requirements with parents and loopholes, the result is usually chaos.
  21. If Wyoming is in Oklahoma, then yes I agree.
