The actual website has it on water Coast to almost coast.... I'm fine with that and glad that you can move on with life now. We can only hope that @ionel can also move on with life with that phrase. I will be better with those who are more geographically sensitive.

Nope... but Cal Baptist 40 minutes from the beach is. Why are. you so upset with "coast to coast" - Would you like me to retract my statement to Coast to across the USA? Would that satisfy your douche baggerie or would you like another term?

Did you not read that I said Baltimore is in the bay? First, why did you not know this to begin with? Second, why did you keep arguing a point that I already made clear that it's in the bay. Third, why is a bay not consider the coast... lastly, why are you so enamored with my original comment that simply said he was going coast to coast?

PD3 won his title 9 years ago...not sure that's real recent. Yeah, I am an OSU supporter and Josh is a friend of mine. Excellent recruiter! For OSU , 2X NJCAA champ Isaiah Crosby was a decent starter but never qualified for the NCAA.... Champ Brett Mower was 3rd/4th on the depth chart last year at 197...They also have former champ Steele Starren on the roster right now. Pretty tough kid. I agree, the Juco talent is much thinner with admission standards.

McComas missed weight as well, but wrestled at 65kg and got hammered.

Not sure about McComas, but Hughes did. So did Kasak at 70kg.

Yep - pulled an upset and finished 8th in 2018.

He had a pretty decent year with a couple good wins -but he was never in the national title or AA picture IMO. Maybe next year or if he redshirts then his last year. He also had a decent amount of D1 results as well to be able to gauge where he was in comparison. The days are not the same of why guys went JC as to why they do it now. Much easier to get guys into D1 schools than it was back in the 80's and 90's. There will always be exceptions, but we wont see as many hammers as we used to.

I'm not a Valencia fan and agree... but I am also not sold on an NJCAA champ with no D1 matches making a huge splash at the D1 level.

Yeah, that's been awhile as I said. Perhaps you haven't been watching the landscape of NJCAA wrestling lately. More recently, Isaiah Crosby was a 2x champ at Oregon State. He couldn't break the lineup his first year. WHen he did he was a decent starter but never qualified for the NCAA.

Interesting … It’s been awhile since an NJCAA champ has done really well at the D1 level. Not sure he can beat out Valencia. Does he have a redshirt?

Sure.... Still doesn't change that cutting another 6 pounds for an entire season is different.
