  1. I think Jagger Condomitti will be in the lineup somewhere.
  2. He could end up back at ASU like Slav did today at Rutgers... but the NIL event is most likely tied to his current NIL at ASU for this year.
  3. Rugters looking solid.
  4. He is no Wick that is for sure. 165 would be my prediction.
  5. I would not rule out his home state of Utah with Adam Hall coming in next year with a new staff. I am not sure it fits his post grad aspirations, but with many guys returning to closer to home their grad year it is a possibility.
  6. Barraclough to the portal as a grad transfer. He would be a good pick-up. He has been waiting for this.
  7. This is how I picture all of us at home posting...
  8. No - PSU has plenty of attention... Back to the regularly scheduled thread.
  9. Top tier guys more and more are not willing to "risk injury" As stated....pay them.... but who pays them to show up? They have had some good progress in some areas @nhs67 mentions The best storylines involve guys outside of the NCAA (Ferrari, PD3, Burroughs, etc.) which is hard to navigate given my first two points. At the end of the day, I want to be the ring announcer.
  10. Yep - Do not contact can means 1- 5ish schools remaining in the auction.
  11. The "Still competing Parris, Coon, Davison, which includes two Olympic athletes to work out with" metric.
  12. Yes he would.... but the portal $$$ would be calling. Correct.. Correct.... Last year there were undergrad guys that went in the portal at the very end, but we didn't hear about it until a couple weeks later and wondered how it happened. Hendrickson to Michigan if I am him - he would have the best room in the country to train in.
  13. I've got Michigan for Parco to work out with his California buddies. Are they also in play for A HWT or are they sticking with the roster? I could see Teemer heading East closer to home as that seems to be what a lot of guys do for their grad transfer. Derracott to UNC makes sense. 9 days left for the portal - could still see a lot of names jump in.
  14. Yep - Many reasons...the entire script has changed. Instead of kids competing to get into colleges, as it used to be, colleges are now competing for kids. Outrageous prices with little return and half the classes online, has turned many to vocational education which is a wise career move for many. In the sports arena, If you arent in the Big 10, SEC or the top tier program in another conference, you are treading water.
  15. The new adult age for wrestlers seems to be around 23... but now we are teetering into the "too old" to be wrestling in the NCAA jokes. So..... it's a small window.
  16. I don't think you fully understand how tough this is on 90% of the coaches and programs that don't have the money to stay in the thick of things. Say all you want about "forcing coaches to be competitive"....it's harder than you think to fundraise for the operating cost of your program, recruit, find NIL money, and by the way, coach and run a program for success. But when you do, you don't have the NIL to keep a kid that you developed. Serious question - who is your team?
  17. haha... 30 guys on a roster at 9.9....but 7 of them are getting "full-rides" for wrestling. What could possibly be wrong with those numbers?
  18. Oh yeah.... but now he can't talk back to me. By the way..Bakersfield still has wrestling.
  19. yet you listen to the rumblings of people talking about weight changes...."With Teemer - apparently - moving up to 165 lbs "
  20. Also landed Dagen Condomitti - PA kid transferring back home from Oregon State .
  21. Man, that's tough for OSU. Two major incidents in one year for the team to deal with.
  22. Probably was not a good decision to wrestle at ASU this season... splitting his time the last two years has not been beneficial for him in either style.
