  1. Yep... Oregon state still has wrestling, but an example would be Jess Lewis - an All - American at defensive tackle and was drafted by the Oilers - he played one season in the NFL. He was also a 3x AA and 2x NCAA champ at heavyweight.
  2. I think you are correct.... it was there this morning but after scrolling to down to South America, I don't see it anymore. Maybe he received some messages about announcing that....or maybe Minnow lurks among us.
  3. Unless he puts "do not contact" on his transfer, this becomes a bidding war. If Cardenas is smart, which he should be since he's at Cornell, he would not do that. This could be fun.
  4. I don't see 141, 149 or Hwt happening based on Iowa odds.
  5. I don't know if he can actually "commit" if he's still wrestling at Cornell... I posted a screen shot earlier in the thread of minnow's two posts...one saying he will be a good addition to ASU... I also said "If true..."
  6. He is transferring as a grad student after this coming year.... I agree .... weird situation for Cornell and a weird situation for ASU. Since he can't officially commit yet I can see this being open season with a bidding war. Should just put himself on Ebay to the highest bidder.
  7. Well there's that I guess.... nothing to see in the portal folks.
  8. Chlebove looked good at U23 world team.... I think it's going to be Chlebove at 133
  9. He’s a grad guy anyway … good get for ASU Plugs a hole for them.
  10. If true , that’s nothing ….
  11. Cardenas to ASU. If true that’s the quickest portal entry and announcement of a new team in history
  12. From Gilroy paper... " The junior standout competed at 195 pounds last season and was planning on wrestling at 220 this season. “I wasn’t planning to go heavyweight, but things change and you have to make the best of it,” he said. He ended up going 220 2 weeks after his interview (after Mid-cals)
  13. I'm thinking there is still a chance he can go 197. He seems a tweener right now. I'm not sure how tall he is.
  14. Anyone else see these same ticket prices for KC 2024...Obviously these are the prime tickets...but wow.
  15. Glad they are mixing in the Little Rocks and Lock Haven's of the world.

At least the school was open and made it very clear to Ramos that he is interim and they are opening up a search (which probably will involved him interviewing as well). When it is all said and done, it appears as of now at least, that UNC is taking the right steps. They may very well end up with Ramos, but they will have avoided the "just handing it over to him" or "they didn't do their due diligence", etc.
  17. Let me try some imagery re-scripting of Temple Owls for you... you're welcome.

Coach Hallahan can do it all - he's my first choice. Just needs to change the singlet to blue. .
  19. Seems logical... with Esposito out and the rumors swirling of Smith's exit...it seems logical to hire his replacement as the assistant for a year to transition.
  20. As a side note Kade Orr was involved in a terrible rock slide accident... he is doing a little better. Not sure what this wrestling season will look like for him. https://www.gofundme.com/f/kade-orrs-recovery?member=28791795&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_content=undefined&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer&utm_term=undefined
