8. 'We' is society. 'You' is an individual. 9. Not entirely sure what you mean. What do you mean 'soft on crime'? What is the goal of incardinating a criminal for a crime? Is it to punish, rehabilitate, educate, or something else? Are there other things that we can do to ensure people don't see crime as an alternative to make a living? Because there is lots of data and examples of other practices getting different/better outcomes as far as crime statistics in other countries. Yes. It is torture. You might only feel that waterboarding and electro shock is considered torture but psychological torture does exist and causes real damage. If you were unaware of that, it would be surprising but not shocking. Do you agree that separating children from their parents is torture? How about not having the decency to collect/retain info to reunite the children with their parents? Should that be taken up by congress as a potentially criminal act? I would love to see your answer, as to why or why not?

Millions of students would be unable to get to and from school. Sports ball players would not be allowed in or out. Short term. Long term. Countries would stop sending students here. schools need that money. More taxes would need to be taken from you to help offset those costs. But your bigotry is important to placate in the mean time.

Many because one side thinks their invisible friend gives them permission to kill another group because they believe in a different invisible friend. Thinking you'll get away with it is an important part of considering whether to do something horrific. If your invisible friends says you will be forgiven or rewarded for it is an awfully big incentive to do something that would otherwise be considered evil.

In our current situation fossil fuels are a great stop gap. Hopefully we can make advances enough to retire that option too. Agree with best alternatives. Other options are being worked on for less H2O accessible areas(kinetic batteries and what not).

The last guy, literally, tortured children(separating them from their parents and didn't take records well enough to reunite them with their families) to try to keep people from coming in and that did not stop them. They thought of the cruelest thing possible other than shooting them(which has been floated as an idea by people in Texas, YeeHaw! They reluctantly put up razor wire instead, sad face) and it still did not work. Has there been any negative consequences to that, I wonder? What else could possibly be done to keep people from risking THAT to get here? Napalm? Idea: try to help the countries they are coming from, from being in the condition that would warrant taking such a risk. Answer: but we can't take care of our own people. Answer to the answer: We can, we also choose not to. Answer to the answer to the answer: well then why don't you open your house to a vet or a homeless person. Because I obviously don't want that in my back yard. Answer to the 4th power: that is why we can't fix the homeless issue, because of that response and the people who think its clever or helpful. You didn't mention the price of the thing. That would've helped. But that's how inflation works over time. To keep something the same price as purchase power decreases. You need to; alter production, change or source alternative materials, or just offer it at a smaller size. I'm sure that's not an exhaustive list but those come to mind.
