https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/14/business/manufacturing-jobs-biden/index.html 51% of investment goes to red states. By which every representative voted against the Inflation Reduction Act and CHIPS Act. Talk about divisive.

Lets see how well this poll ages.

Tried to help children out of poverty and made a big dent in it. That Republican chose to cut. Now they are feeling the sting of it and trying to put the pin back in the grenade. Don't look at the millions of kids we've plunged back into poverty. Look at the border, those immigrants are coming and... grrr, I'm so mad. Is there a bill that we could vote for to fix it? Yes. Will we? Of course not. While we're at it who can we impeach about this?
-
When Biden was President? Agreed. Someone, not gonna name names, but someone tried to keep a cruise ship from docking so that early covid numbers wouldn't go up. I wonder who did that and why. Maybe because they are a petulant child-like person that is vindictive and dumb enough to think light would cure a virus. Either on the body or some how inside the body. I wonder how those tests went, btw. Like his health care plan, that data is coming out soon and will revolutionize the industry. He did stare right into an eclipse and it probably hurt enough to think it could be used in a medical procedure. How far ahead was he on testicle tanning. Missed an opportunity to invest in that one. Your reluctance to realize that you've been took would be laughable if it wasn't so sad. Cons: 45 is a joke and will crash and burn well before November and it will be delightful watching a one time politician, with no power or authority twist in the wind as he fights many criminal and civil charges. Putting in danger the lives of every judge and staffer that has the temerity to work a case against him.
-
Trying to get in on the grift while he can. He's a moron trying to perpetuate fear and hate that keeps him getting paid. Funny how that works. I wonder who else is doing that.
-
As said by no fascist dictator, ever.
-
Don't have to do anything but read your words back to you to destroy your pathetic arguments.
-
By giving Reps. everything they ask for? Then Reps. still walk away. Is that moral? Is that ethical? Is that honest? Since they are conservative, that means all conservatives are backstabbing, unethical, POSs. Do you think that reflects all conservatives or just the ones they have ALL voted for to represent them?
-
No, it very much isn't what 'conservatives' do. You're doing it again, using language to make your group whole seem more altruistic than they are. Conservatives may volunteer at places for people but they also rail against funding for food stamps, immigrants, universal pre-K and health care. All things that would keep them from needing to volunteer in the first place. Its a natural reflex to think that your group is the best. But they usually aren't in one way or another. That you can't or won't admit to that means the problem will continue. Its not just a river in Egypt.
-
Your and idiot.
-
I'm sorry for them. I hope things turn around. But that's not the flex you think it is.
-
Your bigotry percolates down to free tv watchers? Remind me, how much did you pay to watch tv with rabbit ears? Or huddle around the radio for Father Coughlin's fascist story hour?
-
I can say 'we' because it happened. There is not debate as to degrees. As Americans we did that to our own people. I include leaders and citizens of the past as 'we' when I talk about something that is demonstrably true of our past. We are still living with the consequences of those actions. Consequences you are probably disinterested in thinking about. Other than killing an entire group of people to justify your goal. BTW, two different things that I was talking about. See I can hold two similar yet different ideas in my head at the same time.
-
BHAHAHAHA, you think that's what I was talking about? You do have no idea what you're talking about. If you watched the clip you'd have a clue. Slavery, genocide, killing for uttering the name of an invisible friend, just to name a few. Going to a fictional place that fictional god created to send the people They created for not believing in They is the least of the concerns(why would Satan torture anyone, btw? Don't people go there for doing exactly what Satan would've wanted? Wouldn't they get eternally rewarded for the effort to take on the man? Sounds like Heaven!) You are trying to talk about another religion and the practices of people that may or may not follow it to varying degrees, as truth. And you know nothing of your own. You are a hateful bigot.
-
Now you're backtracking because you're wrong. Sit there in your wrong-ness and be wrong. I love the West Wing!
-
No one has ever been tricked by questionable tactics and disgusting rhetoric to vote against their own or a country's self interest(ie every republican that has voted in the last 30+ years in America). Oh ya, and Brexit. How could I forget. Their bigots too!
-
And since you can't tell me a good or reliable way of telling the difference, lets just lie because it makes us feel better. That has never catastrophically blown up in our faces. Didn't we intern our own citizens 75 years ago for that same reason?
-
Have you any idea what the Bible would command you do if you took it as seriously as you 'think' Muslims take theirs? Watch the west wing, great episode. All that is true if you take it seriously. Which I doubt. It just makes you a fearful hypocrite. PS. Wait for the stare Jed gives to her before she stands up. Chills. That's how you take down a bigot. Use their words against them.
-
You know not every Muslim believes that to be true, right?
-
'We' are not Christians. Kinda ignorant and/or purposefully manipulative to even suggest it. And 'They' is carrying a lot of weight. Demagogues speak in terms of 'we' and 'they' trying to lump everyone into one, easy to consume, bucket. In so doing, convince them of something that is not usually true. That you've been convinced by this tactic is not surprising. Your hate and fear is your own. Work out your issues instead of trying to burn it all down.
-
No they don't.
-
What's your reasoning?
-
Why do people keep saying that, 'don't tread on me'? Granted some people only see their existence as singular and without any effect on or need from the world around them. But that is hardly ever the case. The guy in Alaska that lived there for 30 years by himself, still needed things flown in for him. That is quite the outlier of an example. I don't see the draw of that kind of lifestyle. Its just not for me. Then you get the 'I don't want my taxes going to this that or the other'. Sorry, that's the situation you lucked into. You were born in America. Look around, you probably have it better than a lot of other people on the planet. That comes with a cost. Your luck gets spread around to those of us with less luck. Its people that want to horde their luck and money that keeps everyone in this country from having the simplest dignified existence. This hording is usually based in hate or fear of those they feel are unworthy, lazy, or stealing. These views are usually wrong or unfounded. We can rationalize crazy things to justify horrible treatment of others. Take religion for instance. Lots of evil in the 'good' book. But its these arbitrary and bias reasons that people use to justify tax shelters and buying politicians as insurance to keep their wealth from the government and to be used for anything let alone anything good or beneficial.

Care to answer the follow up question that I asked before I had even seen your response?
-
Deny them health care? Then you're going to come back with one of your quippy answers... like ya do. Then I'm going to say, 'What's the difference?'
