    Well, thats not a bad car for some people, plus I'm sympathetic because I drive a tesla and can't turn around without some messianic figure jumping down my throat saying "Oh you think you're saving the world bro but you're not!" or "YOU WANT MY PRECIOUS TWITTER TO BE TAKEN OVER BY NAZIS!!" when I really just wanted the best car... I get the comparison but i don't put people who drive prius' on the same level as people who hate that people have faces.

    I think its more plausible that they see it as an act of nobility via investment in the idea that the government can and should be empowered to solve all problems. They're making themselves a foil to us jerks who are greedy and don't care about oppressed people and such

    i'm sympathetic to the idea that there are different names for the same move, but in this case it was so gratuitous that I felt the need to defend our common language. Plus its very rude to just reframe what people say into whatever form feels most palatable to yourself.

    thats the one, Brooks has a similar defense I'd call, "hands in the hole". Really likes doing it to taylor, very obvious in US open and OTTs.

    I don't have any specific knowledge, but I can say their are a lot of drunks in the wrestling world (like most places), and i've never met anyone who had anything nice to say about guerrero.

    yeah its like a lace but you're head is somewhere you'd generally prefer it not be. I think Terry B was really into that move.

    Unfortunately I don't think Zain gets this turn if its the first match of the day. Both guys were in their fourth match, but Zain was obviously aerobically superior, cause he was obviously able to recover between matches way more.

    i feel like the PSU shills don't really know what to say. Still trying to repair their idea of the PSU wrestling room as 40 guys in a bouncy castle.

    they just don't give the time that they used to, which is annoying because its the more intricate and awesome technique in wrestling when someone has 20 seconds on top in freestyle. Just watch some of the shultz compilation i posted above its amazing.

    implementation of it depends on reputation. I had a kid who was quite good at it and he got stopped less in proportion to his reputation. I don't think we know who invented many moves, even the nolf winn dixie came from cody sanderson and I don't know if he claims he invented it, but as far as bringing the bow and arrow back into prominence recently it was Cam Simaz, and then gabe Dean.

    thats one of my favorite zain quotes, he was asked if the move should be named after him, probably by the sequencing guy, and he respond "um...no, that moves been around for awhile." He's obviously not about shallow narratives.

    Until feldman finished pretty strong, I was thinking it looked like post football mullens was on about the same level.
