So…… as I understand it, the Illini get Northwestern on Sunday AFTER they spar with the Indiana squad. Now that’s no fair. After Indiana gets done with Northwestern they won’t have any fight left in them for Illinois! They’ll be wore down. shame on Illinois for taking advantage of them like this.

I would love to take the (A )back out. Maybe in another match. With Michigan, it will be handed to them.

While the anticipation of some great dual match ups this weekend, we have powerhouse Michigan visiting Bloomington tonight, for a 7 pm match with Indiana. (UGH) That’s right (IndianA ) with a A. Last week Hoosiers got their A handed to them. I’m thinking a similar results tonight ,if wolves keep everyone in their line up. ( stars) Who knows. But not that it would make a difference in the final results, for the Hoosiers, not sure if Washington, or Lillard, or Spranger will be in the IndianA lineup. Looking forward to keeping The (A) in Indiana tonight.

Erstland is a good coach but not have ing much success this year. And we all know about the mass exodus at Northwestern. This is a good year for Illinois to return some favors from the last few years.

These matches will make it all better for Illinois.

This is the “auto” reaction from anyone who is following a certain team. Not knowing, completely, about the other teams roster or talent. I’ve fallen into this trap though many times. But you are right, sometimes it’s just one guy better than the other on that given day. Nobody is invincible! Now will it happen again? That’s the real fun of competition.

Again that institution would be fine dropping all athletics scholarships and using only academic programs for athletes.

You are not wrong about NU being one hiccup away from not having a men’s wrestling team. They provide the bare minimum to all of their sports as it stands. Although they do know that Football pays the bills. As for all others they( coaches)are treated like a step child. And athletes alike. As far as IU, as bad as the program got it still resonated with AD to finally change coaching and is starting a comeback of sorts from the dumpster fire. I’m here to say there is a pretty good following in Bloomington indiana. Don’t think is going to get dropped anytime soon.

Not feeling it. With the way the left leaning universities think about athletics ,as being a nuisance for their intellectual progression. The directors shouldn’t have to waste their time with coaches and NCAA’s policies.

Could have been. But more than likely something else. DJ ain’t very productive last few months. Weight cut or ? Who knows……… minor injury? But ? Lillard didn’t go for the 2nd match in a row. And it was supposedly weight last week. So both those guys are big boys for their weight class.

By the way, I thought the commentary on plus was real good today. Seems like I hear lots of negative comments about it here.

They haven’t At any of IU matches yet. Only football and boys and girls basketball.

So I’m thinking ,since there probably isn’t any big ten seeding threat to Ryan’s boys ,he’ll throw the wood at Hoosiers. He’s going to enjoy this one. He’s got his victory cigar ready and champagne probably already iced in the locker room. ( it’s going to be afternoon so it’s ok)
