  1. Glazier acts and wrestles like someone I would want to hire at our company. Good character, hard worker, low ego, high impact.
  2. It is going to be tough for sure - I think he would need to rely on the strength of his best wins which were against Peterson and Strickenberger who have both already qualified .
  3. Yep - with only six at large spots and all of these upsets - it's going to be extremely competitive to nab one of those six spots
  4. plus he brought back the white boy corn rows featured by Austin O'Connor and Nick Suriano (lol)!

  7. I think so - because Orine or Ragusin could be able to get the third seed - Vito could be 4th or 5th - and have another match with Crookham! Fix actually benefits by being ranked 2nd if thats how it plays out.
  8. Wow that was exciting! Swiderski has a lot of passion
  9. He's legally blind so the rule is that they must maintain physical contact or the whistle blows and they restart
  10. Colaiocco is out! Drops his second match of the day and will not place
  11. Benny Baker makes light work of Conigliaro
  12. They have five so they can both make it. But Max Gallagher and Nick Babin could have something to say about that
  13. Berginc got his revenge over Maida from last week
  14. I checked each bracket and the upsets were somewhat minor.
  15. bruv where in england were you
  16. Well at least they got Agin right on the weight class and Blaze right on the caliber.
  17. I always wanted a tattoo, but was too much a perfectionist to figure out which one. As the years passed, I ultimately identified I was beyond the point of getting a tattoo without sending out a symbolic S.O.S to my people
  18. Incredible post. What a video! Ramos is humble as all hell - never gloats - speaks with class. And the notion of the losing wrester granting an interview for a situation like this makes me forgive a great bit of his forfeits after that match (not that it's up to me to forgive him)
  19. honestly its an idea I had when I was the subject of the potential misery, but thought not to argue it because it would be transparently in my favor instead of in the name of actual logic.
  20. Hey man - the tournament is the following week in case you were wondering
  21. This is a lost art, by the way. As a disagreeable person, I may be biased. This thread is inspired my interaction with a colleague with whom I never agree with on how to approach a situation. But what's awesome is that we maintain a complete level of respect of each other, have never personally attacked each other, and maintain a level of mature discourse. How long can you go without insulting the person you're arguing with? Hopefully a figure that's in years instead of minutes. Virtually all political leaders have failed us in this regard. But we can be better. Please share your own personally story.
  22. brother you're too kind. I just checked with the missus and she reminded me we took the red eye which means - its a great time afterall! We arrive back home at lunch time. False alarm.
  23. That time works best for me given the circumstances. It's my sister's wedding weekend, and I'm flying home that Sunday which means if I have wi-fi I'm all good. If wifi acts up, I guess you can keep my 20 dollars and give me the 33rd seed in every weight class.
  24. @ILLINIWrestlingBlog, better yet, let's add Jombo as a new reaction option!
  25. The crazy thing about Shawver's improvement is that it comes after he was significantly injured last season AND he is bumping up a weight class. And after all the drama of the wrestleoff with Peterson, Shawver is likely to score more points at nationals at the next weight up. It's a cool story and while I don't have any affiliation with Rutgers or Shawver personally, he's been one of my favorite stories of this year.
