  1. I would absolutely love that! They have plenty of my money, the least they could do would be to re-start the wrestling program.
  2. That was his breakout win, at least the one I remember.
  3. I wouldn't count on the facility alone "levelling the playing field," but Iowa will still be able to pull some top recruits. The previous poster suggested otherwise.
  4. There are basically no scholarship limits right now. The only limit is how much money the "boosters" have. We are in an era where PSU is getting nearly all the top recruits. It seems there is no way all these top kids are going to all be able to crack the lineup, but we are assured that Cael has a plan. How much of this plan is to keep studs from scoring points for other teams?
  5. They're 5 years older now and many are adults.
  6. Ya think? They lost to Ithaca College the first year that Koll was there.
  7. Well, they were top 12 last year. Can they improve under a proven CEO coach? And Koll retired from Cornell. I'm pretty sure he is collecting his Cornell pension while also getting a UNC salary. Sounds pretty smart to me. (They also have some wrestling alums who have been highly successful in their post-wrestling life. I bet they can work out a couple NIL deals. He doesn't need to outspend PSU and Iowa to take 3rd)
  8. Nope. Best wrestling facility in the world is under construction, as well as plenty of NIL money to come.
  9. Yes, unlike the Draft Kings shenanigans, every detail of that 7/11/1804 meeting had been worked out to guarantee plausible deniability for all the attendees. The attending doctor even looked away from the duel, so he couldn't be an eyewitness.
  10. Would be a very rare duel of people who agree on something, but one doesn't understand that they agree.
  11. Duels were a bit illegal Saying you were going to a duel could have gotten one in a bit of hot water, but calling it a simple "interview" would not have drawn any undue attention.
  12. Yes! Now, they got it right with the monster who plays Reacher in the TV show.
  13. I believe he meant it, and will prob not take one. But man, look at that Oly team qualification schedule for anyone wrestling NCAAs, especially with the Pan Am qualifier at 57 Kg!
  14. That is if Nelson is telling the truth about missing that meeting. No guarantee that he is being honest. Regardless: He knew the rule. It may be a stupid rule, but he violated it and received the prescribed consequences.
  15. Yes. Jimmy Z? For smaller programs, it seems they just drop the program if they want to get rid of the coach.
  16. The character "Wolverine" is supposed to be 5'3". Hugh Jackman is 6'2".
  17. I'd be more worried about a few of these programs getting dropped.
  18. I am reminded of when we saw Snyder vs. Taha in training. Not good.
