  1. I'm leaning in that direction, but the Tech rivalry and head-to-head in the dual will make for some exciting moments. I also wonder what type of schedule Vito will wrestle.
  2. As an NC State supporter, I try to fly in for at least one home meet a year. This year, I am having a tough time choosing between the Cornell and VTech meets. Hopefully someday soon, I am considering the UNC meet. I love Koll's plan to make it big enough to host it in the Dean Dome at some point in the near future.
  3. I don't know? I think a lot of guys, even top recruits, end up taking partials. 87.5% sounds pretty good to me. What % can these current crops of PSU and tOSU studs possible be making. I know a guy who was a multiple year starter at a top program. Although not a "top recruit," was certainly a great prospect. His scholarship was "books."
  4. I'm not a fan of his, but to his credit, he apparently actually attended all of years of pre-college schooling and didn't have parents let him just blow off entire years to sit home and play video games/watch netflix.
  5. Yeah, I expected it to be Brands, but later on in the podcast he seemed to indicate that it wasn't. Supposedly Brands isn't one to negatively recruit?
  6. Wow. Is it going to be Danis vs. Perry now?
  7. Apparently it helps with PSU admissions. Best part is parents were educators and were cool with the whole situation.
  8. The above mentioned rally may have been the same one where Russian Wrestling Federation head Mamiashvilli said if Russia wasn't allowed in the Olympics then they will roll in the tanks and force their way in. This man is also UWW VP, unless I am mistaken.
  9. Attended a pro-war rally where he was an honored guest. Pictures of him in front of a tank at the rally. He's also represented Russian military competitions and belongs to a military affiliated club. (or did belong to one). He's been used as part of the propaganda machine.
  10. Of course, but unfortunately many of "the best" are actively involved in Putin's propaganda machine. (And really, they're 3rd best lol)
  11. Interesting question. Sidakov should never have been allowed. Hardcore "Team Z" member.
  12. No big deal. 2nd rate wrestling nation at this point anyway.
  13. I mean, when we had a snow day and were locked out of school, I would hold "optional outdoor practices" that included a lot of pumelling and live handfighting drills.
  14. Nope. It has been going on for years. I have been asked many times through the years "why isn't it a winter sport?" No snow or ice.
  15. Please! Can we stop with the wrestling moving to the Winter Olympics? It will never happen! The Winter Olympics means "snow" or "ice" and not "sport usually practiced indoors during American winters." Every Winter Olympic sport deals with snow/ice. If you want indoor sports, then you also start to deal with basketball, volleyball, judo, boxing, weightlifting, etc.
  16. My family hears the same basic argument from my 76 year old mother in law constantly! (despite getting married at 19, never holding a full time job, never earning a degree past high school, never living on her own, never working a full time job, etc.) An expert in every field and every matter that life can thrown at someone!
  17. He was barely treading water in fake wrestling while he was splitting his time. He is in danger of losing the income/notoriety that a WWE career can provide. I don't think he will attempt to serve two masters once again, even if the WWE allows him to.
  18. I agree, but keyboard warriors never have a problem debating me in my field (despite knowing nothing about it outside of movies or tv) or giving me advice about how to do my job. Pretty common on the internet!
