  1. Yes. At the tournament, he would only have to wrestle three top ten guys. Seeds separate them. Assuming he is #1 seed, he would not meet a top 10 until the quarters. If seeds hold: In the quarters he would have #8, in the semis #4, in the finals #2. If he were seed #7-#16, he would have a fourth top ten match in the round of 16.
  2. I'm not sure who wouldn't have taken any of those three. I believe PSU was even after AJ Ferrari. Also: Mark Hall's father, and perhaps even Taylor's father seemed to have a high degree of involvement in the kid's life. Nickal? I will say that the AJ baggage has probably scared some off of the youngest member of the family.
  3. All the top programs will take a Mocco, Lee, Ferrari (before the legal troubles) if they can get them. They don't care how involved the parents are if the kid can compete for a national title as a true freshman.
  4. Well, the good thing is he would only have to do it for three matches in a row!
  5. Yeah, I don't see this happening. Major universities don't seem to be adding programs.
  6. I have seen some interviews with Suriano where he certainly digressed.
  7. Is it two days? If so, I wouldn't be surprised if they wrestle him on day 1 to get him a match or two, then forfeit out. This was what they did at Midlands a few years back, but his medical forfeit was framed as "ducking Glory."
  8. It really doesn't matter what I think, because we know that Taylor would easily tech Karimi. And even Ditka. Good day, sir!
  9. Troy Nickerson is building a nice program at Northern Colorado! Enjoy Colorado. I love it out there.
  10. Hey, I guess we will agree to disagree. I am still not sure what you mean about grammar, as it all looked good to me. Have a great day, and good luck this season. I have to go make up a practice plan that involves lots of yelling and pushups for the Weehawken Junior Wee Hawks! Good day, Sir!
  11. Again: Are we trying to increase viewership and engagement? Or are we trying to be good sports? I cannot imagine Saban not starting some of his best players because that player was too good for the opposition. Now if the player was significantly hurt or sick, that is another story.
  12. "I wrestled D1!" Question: Are you a 140 who dresses up very nice? Or are you someone who used to be 140 and cannot spell?
  13. Says the PSU fan who lives in Colorado. Let me guess: You were a Dallas Cowboys fan and Chicago Bulls fan in the 90s?
  14. To an extent, yes I am being obtuse. I made that pretty clear. But this also isn't the Afton JV quadrangular we are talking about. This is high level college wrestling. No offense, but what is going on at the JV quad has no relevance to what happens in a major college dual.
  15. Well, two PSU fans insinuated he might be hurt. One was Cinnabon, but the other was the authority on all things PSU... the esteemed LeDuke.
