Today at 2:00 the Board of Regents for Northern Oklahoma College met in the NOC President’s Conference Room at Tonkawa with the return of wrestling as an agenda item. Alongside a presentation from the athletic director supported by NOC alum Todd Glasgow. This will be the third junior college program in Oklahoma along with NEO and Carl Albert State. It will also be the third women’s college program along with Carl Albert State and OCU. Some logistics are still to be worked out regarding facilities, coaching staff, and other items, but general specifics are in place for an eventual wrestling room and locker room.. The school will start competition in the 2024-2025 school year.

Terry is the tougher of the two, at least from my vantage point. He is a 118 pounder, and Tom is 126, but Tom makes more mistakes. I typically go 50-50 with either of them for the first 20 minutes of wrestling. But they don't get tired. They will almost get your leg, and almost get your leg, and almost get your leg, and eventually they'll get your leg. Then they'll get it again. And again. And again. It is highly annoying.

2015 Edinboro - 133 Schopp and 184 Avery deserve most of the overachieving credit. Schopp was 9 seed placed 3rd after losing first match. Pinned 4 on backside. Avery 13 seed placed 3rd.
