  2. To be clear, Russia and Belarus will not be in. The countries themselves are not allowed. The athletes can apply to be allowed as a "Athlètes Individuels Neutres" or AIN. There are stipulations to being allowed as well insofar as supporting the war effort(s). As of right now, Sadulaev is the 'only' #1 that isn't approved to go. Sidakov and Uguev are both already approved. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Individual_Neutral_Athletes_at_the_2024_Summer_Olympics
  3. You can't 'just' add D2 schools. That isn't how it works. You also are pulling folks from the SOCON and throwing them in to the ACC as if the ACC would even consider or want them (they don't).
  4. Where is Mesenbrink in this? In any case, of those four for PSU I think only one ends up being on the back side. For OSU there would be three, potentially four on the backside. That means OSU will win it based on having more guys.
  5. Josh Barr is R12-ish right now - if I had to project. I am very high on him, though, and hope he pulls a high AA out of this year's campaign.
  6. I said at the other end, which would be what you said by definition.
  7. Randy Johnson Hall of Fame MLB Career Hall of Fame Bird Butcher Career Hall of Fame PBA Career Hall of Fame NFL Photographer Career Who else is touching him?
  8. I am excited for Gunderson as well. He didn't look small, but there were folks saying that him and Runyon would be wrestling off for 174lbs next year, I believe?
  9. By definition U23 is supposed to be for University Aged folks around the world. Covid, deferred enrollment (Greyshirt), Redshirts, Olympic redshirts, as well as holding kids back a grade (or two) in middle school have made it so our system is failing us with that regard. Take Bo Bassett for example. He will turn 18 by the end of this calendar year. That means he is an old 17 year old HS Soph. He will turn 18 before halfway through his Junior year in HS. He will turn 19 before halfway through his Senior year. The same can be said for Jax Forrest. At the other end - Spencer Moore was 17 years old as a True Frosh at North Carolina. Speaking of North Carolina, the state itself used to have a rule against people who are sort of aging out even being able to compete their senior seasons. If you were 19 before the school year had started, you couldn't compete (something along those lines) in sports that year. There are other states that also follow that sort of scheme. Andonian was simply a kid that went through school at the proper age(s) without being held back.
  10. Forgot Giuesseppe Hoose was in the portal at 184lbs. https://www.wrestlestat.com/season/2024/wrestler/56371/hoose-guiseppe/profile
  11. He isn't in the portal...
  12. Can't see anything there, bud.
  13. LaRkIn Is FoR sUrE 157 bRo!
  14. You said there was no evidence. I offered evidence. I could actually care less.
  15. Oregon State's Munoz entered at 92 KG for U23s? A sign for 197lbs next season?
  16. I would say not so good, honestly. He had a lot of losses to fringe NQ gents. He did wrestle Brewer tough, though, I guess. https://www.wrestlestat.com/wrestler/21395/deshazer-daniel/profile His style definitely lends itself towards MFS, but he has also been grinding it for ~10 years now and was just now climbing our ladder to the Top 5-ish. Unfortunately I think that has a lot to do with a lot of gents not showing up this or last year at 61 KG. Also, he had a couple/few losses to high school kids this year didn't he?
  17. He might have won it or DNP the Covid year. He had a 3-1 OT loss (his only one) to the #1 seed early in the season. Frosh tend to improve a lot that first season during the season.
  18. There is evidence. Higher bonus. Schedule or not, he had his highest bonus in that span.
  19. I don't think it is much of a mystery man. The only gent that is in the portal that could run it back up at 184lbs is Rutger's Billy Janzer. I don't see anyone that would fit that bill, unless Amine is that guy - which I don't see. I also don't see Bearclaw as that guy (hopefully Bearclaw is at 157/165 with Teemer at the other weight). It seems a bit convenient to say that you beat the guy when he was better and lost to him when he wasn't, right? Seems like the best version of all 'four' of those wrestlers ends up being Alirez then, right? Cooooonvenient.
  20. The best version of Woods we saw was the one that didn't get to compete at Nationals due to Covid. That version was from Stanford.
  21. That was what I had thought before as well. Sort of off subject because it is entirely off subject and not sort of, but did you see OSUW's Munoz entered at 92 KG for U23s?
  22. Clearly you have not heard of this dad-bod fad going around the last fifteen or so years.
