  1. Alirez - Mendez is next. Free to watch. JB on the horn.
  2. Wrestlestat has since moved Trumble back to 197lbs for NC State with Trephan back at 285lbs... not sure why. I would prefer Trumble at 285lbs.
  3. Recent results (Carroll at 92 KG this last weekend against comparable competition) suggest that it would be competitive. There are reasons to think it would not be competitive, though, based on results. Carroll over Cassioppi 6-6 on criteria. Carroll over Shumate 16-6 in 4M21S. Shumate over Glazer 11-0 in 1M55S.
  4. Me as well, but that would be awesome to see.
  5. We still know it's not actually TBar making this post. We know it's you HL3... You ruined it for us.
  6. He was 92 KG the next day for MFS after wrestling 97 KG in MGR.
  7. Starocci didn't wrestle 74 KG. Also, Davis was only up in weight for their team, same as Swiderski the year before. Dundee is a small school team and needs their hammers to be flexible.
  8. The portal hasn't been dead. We've legitimately seen a national champion, age group team members, and perennial contenders and a slew of other gents transfer this year. If the requirement is that we get 3+ Natty Daddies every year, then every year will be dead.
  9. No, I get that. There has been a slew of discussion on this on other BBS. Many folks better in the know than us, and especially ConBon, have pointed towards other reasons and not growth. He was ~141lbs what... five months ago? He didn't suddenly gain 15lbs of muscle.
  10. I would take that Pinto victory with a grain of salt. I believe he had a botched cut to 79 KG. If he had lingering effects from that, he wasn't going to do well against the 86 KG contenders. At least, not as well as he should have.
  11. You probably won't get a response. WestCoastDanTheMan has anyone who is anyone blocked.
  12. There is more behind the scenes that you are ignoring. It was a botched cut for reasons that you can look for elsewhere, not him being too big.
  13. Kasak isn't too big for 149 after having started the season at 141lbs. He just knows that SVN is 'that guy' at 149lbs. Duke is still in high school. He will still be in high school next year, too. Cochran might be alive for the 184lb spot. He was at 86 KG this last weekend and made the finals before defaulting out. I think 125/133 is Davis/Lilledahl in some order and I don't really care which order at this point. Unfortunately, for Nagao, he peaked for two tournaments and he hasn't been able to peak as high since.
  14. For going 157 on short notice last year, Paddy looked pretty badass.
  15. O'Toole is already confirmed at 174lbs man.
  16. Kind of want to see him give Geog a run. Edit: Also, if Kharchla is not done and Welsh is not on Redshirt next year, I prefer loser goes 184lbs and loser there Redshirts (if Rogotzke).
  17. Pinto looked pretty bad. I knoe Folk and Free are different styles, but he got dominated by guys who shouldn't have been able to sniff him. Did he have a botched cut to 79 KG?
  18. OSU's Carroll wins via 16-6 tech in ~4M30S... took 90S to score 14 points.
  19. tOSU backup 184lber up 6-2 at the break on OSU's Carroll in the 92 KG 3rd place match.
  20. Recent Wiscy recruit and 2x D3 Natty Daddy won the 97 KG spot for U23s with relative ease. He only allowed one point all weekend and it was in a 7-1 Decision victory over former Focus rival Nick Stemmet in the semi-finals.
  21. Kennedy outscored Ramirez 20-0 in ~4M30S in the Bo3 finals at 79 KG.
  22. Anyone wrestle more than 13 matches this weekend? Anyone win more than 11 matches this weekend? Voelker went 6W - 0L at 97 KG in his U23 MGR run to make the team there. He then went 5W - 2L (including a victory over OSU's Carroll) en route to a 92 KG Silver in MFS for U23s.
  23. Some folks called me batshit for suggesting Rocky to 285lbs. I think Hawkes to 197 and Sinclair to 184 makes more sense for points at NCAA, though.
