  1. I completely missed him in the bracket (Ungar).
  2. For someone with Ban in their name, you have a very mild sense of security if you think that was off the handle.
  3. He's a Texas guy. They hate Cali, hence the Boone's Farm reference. You shouldn't need Vegas to be explained to you. It's a rather popular destination choice for many obvious reasons.
  4. Formato and Ramirez have both been kind of letting it fly this year, win or lose and there has to be one crazy upset prior to the Semi-Finals, correct? I just picked this one to be it. They have felt each other before (last year NCAAs), and I think Ramirez is hungry, very hungry. That'll have him coming out confident and Formato will catch him early - not via pin, just a bunch of early nearfall. I think it is much more likely Ramirez decks him early, but as I said... need some KAOZ right?
  5. Greetings All, With the release of the brackets today, revised thoughts for the semi-finals, finals, and 3rd place winners, as well as thoughts for the Michigan gents in this bracket... Also... no Bullock at 197 for Michigan? Yatooma? Are you kidding me? - 125 - Semi-Finals: Figueroa over DeAugustino, Ramos over Kaylor Finals: Ramos over Figueroa via Decision 3rd place: Heinselman Thoughts: I think Figs shows everyone here that he does contend, just as much as Courtney would/will. McHenry loses to him, then the grind of the backside will get to him that will show that he is just meant to be a 118lber. I think 1-2 wins is peak for him here. - 133 - Semi-Finals: Arujau over Latona, Ragusin over McGee Finals: Arujau over Ragusin via Decision 3rd place: McGee Thoughts: I think Ragusin is going to show here that he belongs in the conversation with Arujau for #3 in what will be a much closer bout than folks thought before this weekend. - 141 - Semi-Finals: Mattin over Jack, Cornella over D'Emilio Finals: Mattin over via Cornella via Decision 3rd place: Carlson Thoughts: Mattin is a grinder and I think where he is most in danger is going to be Vasquez - if Vasquez gets past Hardy. It is someone who will be able to out-quick and out-athlete him enough to where he can't get his grind on. He is set up beautifully to miss those highly athletic 141lbers all the way through the finals. - 149 - Semi-Finals: Sasso over Thomas, Lamer over Millner Finals: Sasso over Lamer via Decision 3rd place: Parco Thoughts: I really think this is going to be Lamer's coming out party and he will beat two gents folks consider high contenders en route to getting controlled in the finals. - 157 - Semi-Finals: Lewan over Coleman, Robb over Scott Finals: Lwan over Robb via Decision 3rd place: Coleman Thoughts: I think Lewan could win 3-2/3-1 in every match through the finals. I am more worried about a Coleman match than a Robb, tbh. I think a healthy Coleman is as much of a contender for a NC as any 157lber in the Top 10. - 165 - Semi-Finals: Kharchla over Yant, Olguin over Formato Finals: Kharchla over Olguin via Major 3rd place: Cook Thoughts: Mattin has Ramirez in the first round and I think he is going to try to throw the sink at him... and fail - unfortunately. I do think that the bottom half of this bracket is very likely to ge tblown up. Olguin and Formato are real threats to knock Ramirez off, and I think they will. - 174 - Semi-Finals: Smith over Lewis, Labriola over Walker Finals: Smith over Labriola via Decision 3rd place: Lewis Thoughts: A lot of very physical, very tough gents here. I think Walker shows he belongs right up there, though, in beating Conigliaro and Romero before dropping in the semi-finals and beating Foca in the consi-semis. I think Smith balls out here. He is hungry for that Lewis win and he got Labs last time out too. - 184 - Semi-Finals: Keckeisen over Munoz, Hidlay over Bolen Finals: Hidlay over Keckeisen via Decision 3rd place: Romero Thoughts: I think Bolen gets Romero this time, but Finesilver beats him on the backside - then proceeds to lose to Romero for 3rd. - 197 - Semi-Finals: Sloan over Harvey, Trumble over Allred Finals: Sloan over Trumble via Major 3rd place: Harvey Thoughts: I think this is the year we start seeing the Sloan we thought we would have a couple years ago and I think he wins this weight class convincingly. Also... Yatooma? Are you serious? There is no way this guy is the best guy they have for 197 to put out there... when Bullock is still on the roster... what the actual deuce? - 285 - Semi-Finals: Davison over Schultz, Parris over Hendrickson Finals: Parris over Davison via Pin 3rd place: Hendrickson Thoughts: I think Davison pulls off the dub against Schultz. Just got me a feeling. Of all the weights, this is the one where the 1-2 seems to be the most likely weight to happen... so it won't. I don't see anyone on the bottom side capable of beating Parris. We have seen Davison beat the elite of 285 before, albeit in freestyle (Cassioppi). I think Schultz then forfeits out.
  6. Brackets are out. https://arena.flowrestling.org/event/b01f698a-722e-4e8f-a512-c4201deabec4
  7. It's Vegas. That is why they keep it there you Turdbiscuit. If you can't ubderstand that, as an American, then you need to just quit... everything. Quit everything - everywhere.
  8. It looks like Antman is making his MMA debut tonight at Ikon 6: The fight is at 265lbs. He is facing a guy who last weighed in at 214.5lbs, but has fought at 205 as recently ad May and holds a record of 3W-19L. https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/95595-ikon-fc-6

  10. 125 - Terukina over Harris via Major ISU 4-0 133 - Schriever over Attasauov via Decision ISU 4-3 141 - Swiderski over Woods via Decision ISU 7-3 149 - Murin ovee Johnson via Decision ISU 7-6 157 - Kraisser over Siebrecht via Decision ISU 10-6 165 - Carr DEC Kennedy via Decision ISU 13-6 174 - Brands over Broderson via Decision ISU 13-9 184 - Coleman over Assad via Decision ISU 16-9 197 - Bastida over Warner via Decision ISU 19-9 285 - Cassioppi over Schuyler via Pin ISU 19-15 If this match starts at 133... it will be 15-9 heading in to heavy... a Cassioppi Pin will tie it at 15-15. Then the Lee gets freed... and he wins via Tech - giving Iowa the 20-15 dual victory.
  11. The Mizzou scenario was different. Mizzou was not 12-0 heading in to the conference championship.
  12. I am not sure. Medley might have been preseeded in that scenario
  13. I have already slashed his tires for you(us).
  14. 125 - McHenry has a good chance of getting to the QF. Wrestlestat has him beating Ferri of Kent State 10-5 and there is nothing in Ferri's results that make me think that McHenry is the dog here. He is a distinct underdog to Kaylor should they meet. McHenry's concerns have always been size and length. 133 - Ragusin got me legit thinking he is the dog in that 3-6 matchup. The Mendez match has me worried. I know Ragusin is chomping at the bit for a rematch with McGee. I hope he gets it and not in the consis. I am picking Ragusin to lose to Arujau in the finals, but I do think it ends up being much more competitive than folks think. His QF and Semi matches will be absokite dogfights. 141 - Honestly Mattin as the 1 seed surprised me a bit. Hardy and Vasquez aren't what I would call underdogs to him - I see the match being a grind for whomever makes it out. He has been lit, though, and I am picking him to make the finals and to beat Cornella there. 149 - I think this ends up being Lamer's coming out party. I think he thrills enroute to losing to Sasso in the finals. 157 - I don't see Lewan beating a healthy Coleman in the semis. I do see Scott beating Coleman and Lewan beating Scott, though. Then I see Lewan and Robb having a Lewan-esque match and Robb coming out on top this time. 165 - Unsure who they send, I assume Mattin. He just isn't bug enough for the grind here. A match or two win is possible, but depends on the draw. 174 - Walker at the 11? Easy money to outplace that. He will have a size (and speed) advantage on Conigliaro and nobody knows how good Romero will be yet. Taking my shot and saying Walker makes the finals. Lewis will destroy him - very bad match for Walker there. 184 - Finesilver has two of the three matchups possible here in which he will just be too horsed to compete. Hidlay is more of a brute and it will show. He can compete with PK, I think, the match just isn't going to happen, though. A 4th place finish is not out of the question. 197 - Bullock drawn in here? With the onky two I don't think he can competr with are Trumble and Sloan, the 1 and 2. He could go 0-2, though. This field is deep. If it is anybody other than Bullock I expect a winless weekend at 197. 285 - Parris will take 1st.
  15. @Jon_Kozak, have yo boy put some respect on the name.
  16. Lol at JD completely whiffing in the Ragusin VS Cannon bit in his Flo lightweight preview today...
  17. I think you are actually correct on the score.
  18. Haines beat Bearclaw at the Keystone did he not?
  19. In fairness he did just beat the starter 6-3.
  20. I think he is doing well? I wasn't the ine who anointed him the next Nolf. Do I think he could be that special? Yes. Do we need to see more from him before I would anoint him that? Absolutely. Do I also think that he would contend for AA this year? Absolutely.
  21. They weight conference championships heavily. I absolutely believe that tOSU should be #4 right now, and not #5. As @RYousaid, their loss was much later in the season, so USC's earlier loss was 'forgiven' more or less. If they defeat Utah this next week then it will have beeb avenged, as well.
