  1. I think Brooks goes up and they have true frosh Josh Barr in there at 184.
  2. Not really. I think Hall was banged up and got hurt during that match, didn't he? Also, PK is a brute. He may not have the same sort of lunchbox mits that Lunchbox Mits had, but Mini-Braun will always have trouble against a guy with that sort of physicality at 165.
  3. I thought he would dominate to a close major. I didn't expect that much of a gap.
  4. Arujau has something. A bug. Something. He dominated Latona and McGee a month ago, and looks bland, slow, and uninterested against them both this week.
  5. Shit, that was even before Nick Lee was every really considered a contender right?
  6. Illinois could win 165, 174, amd 197. I believe they are only mildly favored in one, though (174). Iowa needs Assad and Cassioppi to pin.
  7. I think Cox is the best bet. I don't think he beats him in a series, but would not be surprised if he took a match. I don't see him going 125 KG unless it is some sort of club VS club dual like the Flo RTC cup and not as a true 125 KG just as a bump. Even then I don't see it as they have three gents there at 125 KG already. I don't see anyone in our current crop of 184, 197, or 285 NCAA guys having it at 97 KG. I don't see any of our current 86, 92, 97, or 125 guys aside for Cox being able to have it at 97 KG either - and as I said Cox doesn't take a series from him. Unless it is an InjDef like Gadson I don't see it in the next five years.
  8. Makes you wish D1 Men's were Freestyles rules too, yeah?
  9. No Lunchbox mits to him, but he is strong like Ox.
  10. That one, along with his U23s Worlds Freestyle Silver medal definitely earn him like Top 5/6 ranking in NCAA D1 Folkstyle right?
  11. With the caveat that they wish to compete in the same weight class, correct? Meaning if JB or Cox wished to go up or down, neither could and get a -BYE- to Final X. Also, does that mean Cox will be the 92 KG rep at Pan Ams? Or is Jackson stepping in there, too?
  12. The same Haas who is wrestling for 5th and loss to a gent that the other OSU gent lost to? He did not look so well.
  13. The saving grace is that we got the Collegiate Duals. Holiday tournaments in HS had more action and less ducking. Look at the Powerade or Brecksville tournaments. LOADED with action straight up and down the weights.
  14. Six gents did semi-slide MFF. Also Jaxon Smith MFF to Surber. Duck season is strong in the 'Holidays Premier Event' eh? Lame.
  15. There are many here who could know. All of us aren't keyboard warriors. Several who lurk are actual coaches or officials.
  16. Apparently Big Daddy Monday said his intention was to stay up.
  17. You're good, mate. I agree on all parts, and my apologies for the ponce remark. I really am harmless.
  18. You misunderstood. Opinions are welcome. That said I wasn't asking about any singular person's opinion on the situation. My question was that since Ayala was there unattached - which means he paid his own way i, cannot have an Iowa coach sit in his corner, and he cannot wear Iowa official garb - does that mean that the Brands bros have(had) no actual control over hi(Ayala) or his decision to MFF? That is a yes/no answer I was looking for and not one subject to opinions.
  19. I mean... botching his name that badly is flat out disrespectful. Put some respect on the name, ffs, and quit being a ponce about it as if it was okay.
  20. I was actually thinking of Messenbrink for some redonk reason. The four gallons of Captain Morgan Black this morning might have had an effect. I thought the fourteen potatoes, eight ears of corn and three kegger porterhouse might offset the alcohol content. Obviously i was wrong.
