  1. Also, does nobody find it funny that he wrestled a 157lber at 165 and lost then bumped to 184 and beat a guy who has wrestled 197 at least once each season, save for this one for obvious reasons, for his team (Maryland). Neither matches were really that competitive either.
  2. Does he stay up? I was hoping to see Michael North and Nick South wrestle next season at 165... Seriously.
  3. So Maryland still has the longest B1G losing streak, currently. Still 14/14.
  4. 16-16 w/ Indiana winning on criteria (most match points) - so 17-16.
  5. Let him transfer to a MAC or EIWA school and roll out as their 157lber for the next couple years.
  6. I imagine there has been a slight tweak in the formula and the new DL of then references what it would have been using this new one.
  7. I think Keegan intends to be a 74 KG guy, so I do think 165 is the plan.

I think Plott tweaked his shoulder in the Mocco match and we are seeing a mental block on his part. The mind game is the most difficult to win.
  9. I honestly think a healthy O'Toole up at 174 beats Starocci next season. He isn't a big 165lber, though, and I imagine he would be weighing in under the limit. That said, Mocco isn't seeing 157. I am being a turd. I think he would see similarly spectacular results as we have seen from Robb, though, and I don't think the drop would be too much to handle. He is pretty small.

Did you see the match? Also did you see my disclaimer? 'injury, illness, or a (near) lucky deck' applies here.
  12. Mizzou was banged up before the Scuffle, that was why he didn't wrestle the Scuffle. They walked out of the Scuffle with like four concussions and three bum knees. Soke teams just get beat up some years. This year is Mizzou's year to be beat up.
  13. Several folk, myself included, though he should have gone 149 when Rivera was there, still. MVB was there, but it should have been hia priority to fill out the weight.

This. It is perceivable to put Foca and Labs as Tier 3. I know Labriola beat Lewis, but my view on tiers are as follows: Aside for an injury, illness, or a (near) lucky deck, you can defeat those one above your tier, in your tier, and one below your tier. Ergo... 1 - Starocci 2 - Lewis 3 - Labriola, Foca 4 - Plott, O'Malley, Smith, Romero 5 - Lautt, Mocco, Ruth, Brands There are others, but this is about
  15. Bubba Wilson loses matches he shouldn't all the time. Or maybe it's that he wins matches he shouldn't? Probably both.
  16. Gordon has narrowed the gap every time. 14-2 Major then 5-2 Decision and now a 3-1 SV Decision.

    Amos

Are you referring to the same Amos that demolished Kerkvliet down below 220 a ~year before Goat Steveson scraped by via a 3-2 Decision while he (Kerk) was in his first year at 220 and bumped to face said Goat Steveson? He looked like a Tier 1 recruit regardless of weight since he was a 182lber. It doesn't change the fact that you are correct: He needs to go 285 next season.
  18. Ramos was only 133 because Purdue had a 125lber. He wrestled 57 KG a few weeks later in Freestyle. Not sure what you were getting at, but let's not act like he was a big 133lber or something.
  19. Actually I bet Wkn could figire this out fairly simply. After Tuesdays rankings, use higher ranking to determine conference placements, wrestlestat for RPI, and then add in the rest of the formula (winning percentage, conference champion, H2H, etc).
  20. These are using Intermat's rankings for conference 'finish' for arguments sake... 125 1 - Lee, Iowa, B1G 1st 2 - Glory, Princeton, EIWA 1st 3 - Cardinale, West Virginia, B12 1st 4 - DeAugustino, Northwestern, B1G 2nd 133 1 - Bravo-Young, Penn State, B1G 1st 2 - Fix, Oklahoma State, B12 1st 3 - Arujau, Cornell, EIWA 1st 4 - McGee, Arizona State, P12 1st 141 1 - Matthews, Pittsburgh, ACC 1st 2 - Woods, Iowa, B1G 1st 3 - Alirez, Northern Colorado, B12 1st 4 - Bartlett, Penn State, B1G 2nd 149 1 - Diakomihalis, Cornell, EIWA 1st 2 - Gomez, Wisconsin, B1G 1dt 3 - Johnson, Iowa State, B12 1st 4 - Sasso, the Ohio State, B1G 2nd 157 1 - Robb, Nebraska, B1G 1st 2 - Humphreys, Lehigh, EIWA 1st 3 - O'Connor, North Carolina, ACC 1st 4 - Franek, North Dakota State, B12 1st 165 1 - O'Toole, Missouri, B12 1st 2 - Griffith, Stanford, P12 1st 3 - Monday, Princeton, EIWA 1st 4 - Carr, Iowa State, B12 2nd 174 1 - Starocci, Penn State, B1G 1st 2 - Plott, Oklahoma State, B12 1st 3 - Labriola, Nebraska, B1G 2nd 4 - Lewis, Virginia Tech, ACC 1st 184 1 - Brooks, Penn State, B1G 1st 2 - Keckeisen, Northern Iowa, B12 1st 3 - Hidlay, NC State, ACC 1st 4 - Coleman, Iowa State, B12 2nd 197 1 - Elam, Missouri, B12 1st 2 - Bonaccorsi, Pittsburgh, ACC 1st 3 - Dean, Penn State, B1G 1st 4 - Truax, Cal Poly, P12 1st 285 1 - Kerkvliet, Penn State, B1G 1st 2 - Parris, Michigan, B1G 2nd 3 - Hendrickson, Air Force, B12 1st 4 - Cassioppi, Iowa, B1G 3rd
  21. Regular season ends, yes? So now we have conferences?
