  1. It's a 'Who at 174?' problem that I think is being pushed on him.
  2. Well I want to puke. J/s
  3. Minnow saying that DT is on a flight to OKC.
  4. If Rogers goes, this is what I think... 125 - Figs 133 - Chlebove 141 - Vasquez/Ysag 149 - Larkin 157 - Kilic/Ramos/McClane - wrestler by committee... 165 - Kilic/Ramos/McClane - wrestler by committee... 174 - Ruiz 184 - Rogers/Valencia 197 - Rogers/Valencia 285 - Schultzy If no Rogers, then another wrestler by committee at 197 that nets them ~3 wins on the season (again). I think Teemer ducks out and I think Larkin is 149 at the highest. He could very well be 141 as well. He has freestyle aspirations, so if he isn't going 65 KG I imagine he is trying to go 74 KG, so 157 is possible. Add in that Manville could start straight away for them - same for Kyler Larkin as well. Could be something like this by season's end... 125 - Figs 133 - Chlebove 141 - Larkin 149 - Manville 157 - Larkin 165 - McClane 174 - Ruiz 184 - Rogers 197 - Valencia 285 - Schultzy
  5. Calling anybody but Oklahoma State OSU is just plain disrespectful. Especially being as Ohio State University proper calls themself tOSU...
  6. ACC is P4P the 2nd toughest conference in D1 NCAA wrestling. He has a better shot at success in the B12 (more bottom feeders there) - just my opinion. That said, a lot of his potential destination(s) as well as weight will be dependent on his future aspirations. He has been competing at 70 KG for Serbia internationally. They don't typically do 'off' weights for Senior level. That means he needs to head towards 65 KG (~143.3lbs) or 74 KG (~163.1lbs). Him to 141 or 157 would make sense for either of those... he could also stay 149, but he would need to head to 65 KG after that - were that the goal. All this said, I know I said ACC was more difficult, but North Carolina makes sense for him. There are many folks there with senior level aspirations. Michigan makes sense... same thing. He would immediately compete for a starting spot at 149lbs... or perhaps 141lbs and 'allow' Lemley to redshirt. I can't think of (m)any MAC programs that have substantial international presence.
  7. Honestly, I was just stirring the honeypot there. I am here for entertainment value, really. Have a good day.
  8. From what I am hearing on the ground is he is homesick, but it isn't a guarantee he even leaves (think Slav). Homesick, to me, tells me Oregon State or somewhere with friends, such as Cal Poly or Purdue. I also think I had read somewhere that both ASU and North Carolina were considerations too, but I haven't heard any of that first hand. As long as he succeeds wherever ge goes, I am happy for him.
  9. It was a general statement towards anybody who needs to toughen up - including you, apparently.
  10. One thing to consider, gents, is that Barr and Facundo are childhood best friends. Them competing together is a bucket list sort of thing. If Facundo or Barr decide to leave, for whatever reason(s), the other might follow.
  11. I think Facundo will be better suited for 174lbs than he ever was for 165lbs. He did also just dominate (by Facundo standards) Haines at OTT, so...
  12. I agree on Haines. Ryder has been ~174lbs for a couple/few years now, hasn't he? Had he intended to go 184 I imagine he would've spent the year growing in to it while not competing in HS. Ryder will(should) redshirt, I think.
  13. The only person that Starocci mentioned in his interview pre-OTT was Haines. In the same interview he said Cael had said something along the lines of 'Carter Starocci - 2025 NCAA Champion at 197?' and then he (Starocci) said that he has liked owning 174, but Levi wants to eat. Levi to shirt and grow in to 174, then he forces Facundo out.
  14. PK is staying 184. They have a 197lber for the next three years at UNI.
  15. He wrestled Thicclay tougher than every 197lber not named Aaron Brooks did during the NCAA season. He will win whatever weight he chooses.
  16. Tallmadge is coming from a service academy, so he has a redshirt available I think? I imagine they utilize that.
  17. I think this is what happens. We then see Facundo transfer to CMU for his last year of eligibility. The extra ~15lbs for Haines will be too much for Facundo to handle (I unfortunately believe) at 174lbs.
  18. Part of the game. Don't like it, you are welcome to watch softball or basketball or some other sport where they play with balls rather than have them. Get tougher.
  19. This is incorrect. They bought 30% of the team and then only used 20% of the team. Don't exaggerate for the sake of trying to make a point on a wrestling forum when there are people much better at that game than you on said forum.
  20. I would wager that it is Haines going 174 year after next, if he can beat Facundo (he just got controlled rather convincingly, albeit in MFS against Facundo).
  21. Hopefully Zeke and ASU made plans for after. If so we will get some sort of announcement that SWRTC or ARTC or some other RTC has 'formed' there pretty soon.
  22. A lot of arguing against Vak(Iowa) that is making precisely dick for sense here, gents. At some point you have to understand you're simply just hating to hate and using straw man's arguments (by definition) to try to invalidate the very valid points that are being made by Vak. I am not an Iowa fan and I approve this message.
  23. They need some upperweights and they could have a lethal dual team.
