  1. What is occurring in those other sports? I don’t follow them much so could have missed it but I don’t recall seeing a whole lot more specifics there. For example I know there were comments made about needing $1-$2 million or so for a good transfer QB. But didn’t see specifics about whether or not that was per year, etc. everyone and their brother gets a scholarship for football so it’s probably assumed that is additional, not that tuition would make much difference when you’re talking numbers that big anyway.
  2. Looking at tournament results, these are the only teams other than PSU that have finished within 30 points of first place: 2023 none 2022 none 2021 Iowa (won) 2019 none 2018 tOSU 2017 none 2016 OSU 2015 tOSU (won), Iowa, Edinboro, Missouri 2014 Minnesota, OSU 2013 OSU, Minnesota So a total of 11 teams in 10 tournaments, 7 outside of the year PSU tanked. Looks like OSU is the only team that made the list 3 times.
  3. Lol I’m sure that’s not why. I thought there were a few of them that weren’t interviewed but can’t remember
  4. Forget what match it was, but I thought it was interesting when they showed a sequence that was called OOB when the ref said “his feet were out but his shoulders were in” and the ref said out loud something like “hold on let me think about it.” No idea what the rules were at the time but I was more surprised that he said that out loud. There wasn’t much if any complaining from Gable, but I feel like if something like that happened today the coaches would go nuts. The Royce Alger / Bill Tate episode was probably my favorite with the 2 of them watching it together.
  5. Agree. No one’s beating Starocci. After seeing Brooks lose to Marcus Coleman and him moving up a weight, I’d be surprised but not shocked if he lost. I’d give Ferrari the best chance. Outside of him I’d say maybe Michael Beard due to the familiarity angle
  6. Gannon Gremmel is on record as saying he declined $40k to come back, although I’m not sure if that was without a scholarship. $100k for top 5 guys (and not just the ones that went to Iowa) seems believable to me. As far as NIL for recruits go, it seems tOSU has the edge there but no idea how those amounts compare to the alleged amounts that transfers have gotten.
  7. F&M is on there (Diplomats). Plus Millersville. Don’t see Lock Haven though
  8. I’m no doctor, and without seeing the initial hit, I can forgive letting him continue after that. But that combined with being wobbly on multiple occasions afterwards, a concussion has to be the most likely scenario unless there’s a specific explanation, which Grey did not provide.
  9. Ok so you are second guessing that he said it
  10. Just briefly browsing last year’s results could argue he ducked Keckeisen and Marcus Coleman for Wittlake last year. 1/20: Wittlake MD vs Northern Colorado 1/22: Wittlake MD vs WVU 1/28: no Wittlake against UNI 1/29: no Wittlake against ISU 2/3: Wittlake loses to Finesilver 2/5: Wittlake dec vs Colton Hawks
  11. Lol that you are second guessing whether Smith said Fix would kick Crookham’s butt
  12. Thinks and says are 2 different things. I think most coaches when asked that question would have said “hopefully we’ll get to see it in March” or something. I also think it’s notable he used the words “kick his butt” considering he sat Fix. Agree.
  13. They’ve had multiple conversations confirming the long i is correct.
  14. There’s a bunch of stuff you have to pay for on there (and other subscription streaming services) That looks like one episode for 2 hours? The one on Amazon is 6 one hour episodes
  15. Ok, but again IMO Smith saying Fix would kick his butt is more notable than him saying he thinks Fix should be ranked #1
  16. C’mon it was clearly about Fix and Crookham unless you’re saying Allen deliberately misquoted him.
  17. Currently in the middle of watching. Maybe a tad drawn out by putting it into 6 episodes, but pretty good overall and worth the $4.99 (SD), you can tell a lot of people effort went into it. I like how they had some of the guys watching the match together. Alger/Tate was particularly fun. I honestly don’t know who wins, don’t spoil it please!
  18. I agree there’s missing context in the “they could’ve wrestled” quotes and him saying “Fix would kick Crookham’s butt” doesn’t necessarily mean Smith thinks Fix should be #1 (because maybe he thinks Vito should be). But are you saying Smith might not have said Fix could kick his butt?
  19. I wasn’t really paying attention to the “who should be ranked #1” line. I do think it’s interesting how he says “Fix would kick his butt” after one guy showed up and the other one didn’t though.
