The rule is 30% right? If it’s “dates” and not competitions I think he qualifies. He only wrestled in 5 “dates” out of 19 (counting multi-day competitions like B10’s and NCAA’s as 1). But I think the bigger question that I don’t recall is was he actually injured or could he just not make weight?

Isn’t Angelo only a junior in HS? And seems the consensus is Anthony wouldn’t beat Chittum? AJ would certainly help though if his charges get dropped, and a rematch of a different incident that could have resulted in sexual assault charges would also certainly add to the storyline…

Is Steveson really a “full 125kg”? I thought he was ~250? And I’d bet Sadulaev is cutting from 230ish, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was only like 15 lbs difference in their walk around weight.

I’d have to believe allowing him to do both was part of the reason he chose Iowa to begin with. But, I would be concerned with him deciding on his own to not wrestle in the future. Which is why it would probably be in Brands’ best interest to get him in the lineup while he can, if possible.

This probably is a good point because wasn’t the assumption that Siebrecht was going down to 149 with Chittum at 157? Now maybe Siebrecht stays at 157 with Voinovich at 149. So may not be all that much dropoff.

If there's any truth to this "$30k/month" rumor which I'm skeptical of, isn't it possible it is just for the months during the season?

What would the appropriate response from the university? Can they keep the money and take this dude’s name off the building? Or would they have to give the money (which is obviously now gone) back?
