  1. True about nothing happening in early December, that's a good point. Still, to me it seems weird to go all the way up to 183.9 but it's all speculation at this point.
  2. I'm not saying he can't get down easily, but the decent rules means he can't wrestle at 174 for another month. I don't think he would have weighed in that high if 174 is his plan for this year. Why not weigh in at 180 or something?
  3. Where did you see this? Another board said 182, if he's up that high in either case he's likely staying there.
  4. I certainly wasn't trying to imply anything in this specific case, but top matches not happening is incredibly common now.
  5. Pritzlaff would make a lot of sense if they moved on from Bono
  6. This is the new normal, most duals have one at least one of the top matchups not happen. It's actually more surprising if all the top head-to-heads take place in a dual nowadays.
  7. How come nobody is discussing the big issue here? SDSU has three guys named Tanner in their starting lineup? I'll be the one brave enough to ask - what's happening in Brookings?
  8. Good news! I went in to the event and saw this, when I look at other upcoming ESPN events it doesn't say that. So I'm somewhat optimistic I'll be able to watch.
  9. Agree all around here, and I should clarify that Escobedo has done well with Rooks and Washington. I put their years in more to highlight that their best guys are leaving soon and I don't know who they coming in to replace them or improve on what they've done.
  10. Escobedo has been there 5.5 years now, I'm seeing zero AAs and one round of 12 guy in that time. He's pure class and I like him personally, but the results haven't been there. Far as I know there aren't any major recruits ready to step in, or are there? Rooks is in his 6th year and Washington his 5th... Not saying he should be gone, but I think he's been there long enough to question if there's been enough of an improvement.
  11. Was it that Iranian Heavyweight? He's the only guy from SH that I can remember...
  12. Nobody is going to make waves at Sacred Heart, glad they have a program and the huge roster but they don't have the schollies or any real way to attract top flight talent.
  13. Olejnik indeed looked great, Hamiti always had his number in the past. Hated to lose him at NIU, but he may have already jumped levels in his short time in Stillwater.
  14. An ESPN+ subscription does not give you access to stream ESPN's traditional TV networks or the content on them. To stream those networks, you need a television subscription through a cable, satellite or digital provider.
  15. Well they did that too for the NC State dual and I found out after signing up that I also needed ACC Network. They could require a cable/satellite login
  16. If it's on ESPN regular, does that mean no option to stream?
  17. Disagree here, Steiber was the biggest name and best recruit. You can argue after fresh or maybe sophomore year Phililps may have been at his level or bigger, but imo by the time he graduated he was losing some of his luster as a recruit.
  18. Byron Tucker was just an absolute hammer that year, he isn't a name many folks remember but man he was good.
  19. I feel like a big reason for Pitzer's success last year is his completely unique style with top wrestling and scrambles, he was unknown and doesn't wrestle like a traditional heavyweight. People know him now and are going to avoid those positions when possible, so he's going to have to start beating people initiating his own neutral offense.
  20. He also wrestled two teammates, where it's often much harder to score a TD.
  21. Also beat Cal Baptist in the dual 2-0 without a TD.
  22. We posted at the same time! Besides there's no "too hard" when making Jim J. Bullock references, the more the merrier I say.
