I have no horse in this race, at the end of the day rankings are just rankings and the results are what matters.
With that said, what is this methodology you follow that everyone keeps mentioning? Is it a legit “formula” or no?
I’m a fan btw!!
I’m all for theatrics but I do hope that he comes back without drama and a better young man.
mistakes happen but something like this situation is more indicative of poor character and decision making than it is making a “mistake”
Easy fix, let’s add a push out point. After watching freestyle more and more it just makes sense to 1.) mimic the international style and 2.) keep action constant and incentivize staying in the middle and banging
Based on the rankings there were 96 matches where the lower ranked wrestler won. I don’t think that’s predictable, but happy to hear your thoughts.

He majored the kid that got 4th then lost two on the backside. I hope he’s okay and there are better days to come! He’s a Freshman so he will learn from this, I’m still high on him as is everyone else I assume.
I have noticed that he shows some bias towards who he likes to win the match, but as an announcer he seems fine.

He came close to the turn, with how they were moving at the end I think a takedown was less likely.

The UFC should have been in on college wrestling from the start, it’s got to be one of their biggest pools of potential incoming talent.
Love to see it
Flo has done a good job covering it, especially the D1 programs. I love wrestling and cannot recommend Flo’s pro membership enough. I love it, and love InterMat for the forum.
