    Exactly . You maybe 25 basketball players vs. 300 to 2000 wrestlers at the tournaments I have competed in and coached in. The National Anthem is always played and I have never seen one person leave or kneel down.

    It's OK to enjoy the freedom and the liberty that the Flag and the National Anthem symbolize without having to show the respect for the very people who afforded that Freedom and Liberty.

    Mulkey's statement is very disengenious. She knows exactly when it is played and she knows exactly why they won't be on the floor for the playing National Anthem. It has nothing to do with a team meeting. It is and was intentionally done.

    I wonder if the athletes and the coach had to decide between being present and stand for National Anthem or the lose their scholarship or contract, what would they choose? The National Anthem takes 90.5 seconds.

    Louisiana Gov. Landry suggests pulling scholarships for athletes who skip the National Anthem. I happen to think that is a wonderful idea. What are your thoughts. LSU vs Iowa women's basketball game.

    Canada has 1/20 th the GDP of America. 3 States have a equal or higher GDP than Canada.

    Maybe he is saying that you are born a victim, might be one "nuance" . Then there are those that are born entitled ,that may be another "nuance". We seem to have a great number of those today.

    I think most would prefer to stay if they were offered an equal amount of money that is being offered from the school that is poaching them.

    If only parents would teach this to their children. Then it would be great if this was taught in ALL OF OUR SCHOOLS and University's.

    Yes. I wonder what the deciding factors were? How could they have done a thorough invextigation? It does seem strange.

    I think that is the only way they get this ship straightened out. This ship was heading North and now its heading South. Unfortunately, it is heading straight for a 400-foot waterfall at about 30 knots.

    A number of these grad transfers are only because of the Covid Year garbage. Is that correct? I will be so glad when that Covid Year buls--t is over with.

    Athletes could always transfer to another school if it wasn't working out for them or if the just changed their mind. Now you can shop ( you don't even have to shop ,they come knocking at your door ) the market for the highest bidder even if you were happy with your coaches and the school.

    Joe Biden wasted no time coming ( on National TV with a press conference) to the aid of Baltimore with the entire weight of the federal government. Pledging the federal government would pay all of the 600 million dollars to rebuild and replace the Key bridge as fast as it is humanly possible.. What do you think about that? Nothing like election time.

    I agree. It was well meaning but was poorly thought out. Sounds like the government. It really hurts the small school. They put in all the work to find a kid under the radar, give him a scholarship and opportunity only to have big schools with boosters with big wallets come along and take them away.
