  1. You are daring me to be pedantic, aren't you? Well I won't do it. I won't take the bait. Uh uh. Not going to...dammit. Its schoolmarm not school mum.
  2. So glad we have pedantic, humorless english teachers on the site.
  3. I do not know of any wrestler who got better by not wrestling for two years. I do not even know anyone who has gotten better at anything by not doing it for two years.
  4. I notice you are getting more comfortable typing it. It won't be long now...
  5. While not definitive, the number of medical forfeits dropping by a third is likely due to the new (needed?) rule. MDs up only 3.4% (+233) surprises me, though.
  6. They are on there having participated in three of the tournies in the time frame.
  7. See SteveNson, GablLe. edit: in addition to earning the N he gets an extra L for taking the real wrestling lose.
  8. Ralph Waldo knew that always doing things the same way was boring. No one wants to ride a flat roller coaster. To that end I offer you the teams that like to keep it interesting (and, ok fine, the teams that do not). Those Jackrabbits like to move around a lot. From a low of 74th (2009) to a high of 12th (2018), they are all about that healthy dose of volatility. The Scottish Enlightenment has crossed the pond. Edinboro understands the benefit of changing things up a bit, going from 3rd (2015) to 65th (2019) in just 5 short years. And them eggheads at Princeton are on to something with 58 places between their high (13th, 2023) and low finishes (71st, 2011). Maybe they will finally have a coach join the list of 79 Nobel Laureates. For you hobgoblins obsessed with consistency I point to Virginia Military Institute, who have only ever finished last at the NCAA tournament (if ever is 15 years). Their only source of volatility is the number of teams in the tournament, having finished 76th, 73th, 71st, and 70th in their four appearances in the last 15 seasons.
  9. My guess is he is working hard to get into the Iowa lineup for second semester. He would like nothing better than to stop Brooks from being a four timer and keeping his hopes for four alive at the same time. But I do not know if he can even get into the school to get into the lineup. That said, even if he cannot get into the school and does not get his chance to be any more than a flash in the pan, one timer, I do not see him changing anything about his string of illogical hashtags.
  10. He would have two years left, next year and the year after. His eligibility clock is running. If he does not wrestle this year he effectively loses a year. He is in the 6 years to use 5 group (with one of those 5 being 2021). 2021 wrestled. 2022 wrestled partial year, but too much to take injury shirt. 2023 used one of his 6 years without wrestling. 2024 uses one of his 6 years whether he wrestles, or not. 2025 ? 2026 ?
  11. After surviving a closer than expected reelection challenge from Adam Frisch in 2022 for the Third District seat, Lauren Boebert announced she is switching to run in the Fourth District to replace the retiring Ken Buck (R). What is interesting about this move is that nothing will change in the Fourth District. It is solidly Republican. Whoever wins the Republican primary will win the general election. But it puts the Third District at risk of flipping to the Democrats. Comically, her reasoning was that by not running it would prevent "Hollywood elites and progressive money groups to buy the third district, a seat they have no business owning. I will not allow dark money that is directed at destroying me personally from stealing this seat." So, she admits she is a liability. With Republicans already holding a very slim majority, this has to hurt their chances of keeping the House. For someone who campaigns with a pistol on her hip, she sure does not like to fight.
  12. So much entertainment value in this tweet. He misspelled University. He doesn't know the meaning of reigning or defending. One guy has a pretend bible verse on his shirt and the other has bad mother f*cker (you know? Like any mature adult).
  13. Because he is enrolled? Is AJ enrolled? He has a question mark in there, and that looks like a recruiting visit pic. Hopefully not a Stevenson-like troll. That's right. I said Stevenson. He keeps the n as long as he keeps pretend wrestling.
  14. No one. I mistakenly had Pitt in EIWA. My apologies. So everything but the number 4 is accurate in the original post. EIWA did lead all conferences with 3 champs.
