Thank you for deflecting. Much appreciated.

Is this how you converse with people face to face? Of course you're going to say yes so you can deflect. Ok, change of plan. If someone made a statement of fact that you disagreed with and sited a statistic but refused to tell you where that stat came from. Would you think that person is honest or interested in the topic of conversation? And if it happened multiple times on multiple topics would that person have all the hallmarks of a troll that is not worthy of your time or consideration? I guess those questions are rhetorical. Didn't take long for you to lose your patience and resort to dishonest tactics. I'll be honest. Took longer than I thought. Well done.

Addressed. One source does not a point, make.

That tracks.

You quoted someone who wound up being wrong. What does that prove?

I was using it as a point of agreement. But that they still needed to push and fight to get the opportunities to participate in boy's sports. Because some people, like you, didn't want things to change and fought(and still fight) to keep girls out of boys sports. Not that you could or would see the parallel but us agreeing on that, negates your point. Things change. This will. No matter how hard you fight, you're still on the wrong side of history. I imagine being the bad guy over and over would put a sour taste in your mouth and you would learn. But as you have confessed to enjoy riling people up for no reason, I bet it won't happen publicly. So keep yelling at clouds.

Glad you can keep it civil. Would have for this to devolve into name calling because we lost our patience.

Funny how you answered the question before asking what I meant by it. Seems like you don't care that much. But, gang violence, poor economies that we helped to cripple through decades of horrible 'diplomatic' practices(that means we over threw their governments so that Dole could sell cheap bananas and Starbucks could have cheap coffee). This is our reckoning. We caused most of this and now we are punishing the people that are taking the brunt of it. We are going to suffer and by that I mean regress back to the mean(average). Rebalancing is something that needs to happen from time to time. Ask the Bolsheviks. Thank you for name calling first tho.

If we're just going to say things without evidence. Not true. Demonstrably not true. Your Democratically provided and more affordable health care must be fantastic. True only that 45 follows 44. Republicans don't want to fix it because it takes away one of the few things they can run on. Reagan was a racist bigot POS FDR saved the country from the great depression when conservatives would've sunk us further into it. Bush 2 is a war criminal. Clinton is a rapist. Trump is a rapist. Ford was a coward. Kennedy slept around. This is a fun game.

You searched for a stat that confirms your assumption and found in on the internet? That's surprising. What were your search terms if you don't mind me asking? Any links that I could check?

So you're ok with people suffering and turning them away without understanding even a little bit of the circumstances that brought them there?

3 out of a grand total of 6 in the state. Definition of a solution in search of a problem. Find the displaced people. Find where there is a problem. Find the extent of the damage being caused. Figure out if there is problem to be fixed and what that solution might be. Railing against a new thing because it will disrupt the old thing(which is what it sounds like you're doing, without actual evidence of a problem) is not a reason to stop. Find some scholarship. Some studies. Anything. The 'Common Sense' argument doesn't hold water because our senses(you and I) are obviously different. Its not that common. There needs to be more.

Yes, its old hat. Girls play and beat boys in boys sports sometimes. Tale as old as time. And if we're talking about k-12 sports, I still haven't heard a good reason to keep them from doing it. Someone posted there are 6 total in the state and only 3 have been given the green light. I wonder what they had to go through to be cleared to play? Do you? It probably wasn't easy. But as sport teaches us, to persevere in the face of adversity is a noble endeavor. I hope they're better people for committing to their journey and come out better on the other side. You know there's more than just two sexes right? By that I mean there are more combinations of X and Y chromosomes than just XX or XY. I have a feeling you mean boy and girl in the XX/XY meanings of those words, but there are more variation out there.

I wasn't asking a legal question. It was a question about your humanity. It wasn't a "gotcha" question. You're allowed to have sympathy and/or empathy. It helps when having conversations about this to remember they are people. How many of them that you feel are lying about their situation, notwithstanding. It still helps to have accurate information when talking about such a hot button issue. 90% sounds pretty high. Is there a way to confirm that?

I don't think the concern is only trans kids to play girls sports. Girls have tried to play boy's sports for a long time. Its old hat. But they are a smaller group that, based on the law in Ohio, are now in the spotlight for being different. When has that worked out in the past? Gay people? Slaves? Just about every wave of immigration in this country? We've almost always created, out of thin air, reasons to otherize members of said community. And punching down is never a good look. Are there? You talking k-12? Where are these happening? What are the situations? Are they being impacted, mentally? That's a good conversation to have. The thing is if we are scared that a problem might exist and try to make rules to prevent it. There are no ways to tell if we did it for nothing. Granted there might be some harm done to some people. There almost always is. The conversation would need to shift to what harm is being done to whom and which is more significant. Those aren't easy questions to answer. If more teams need to be created so that the same number of competitors can have playing time for sport. That might be an easy fix to keeping a population of people, that are more prone to suicide, alive.

Do you have any sympathy or empathy for people coming across the border, that are honestly trying to make a better life for themselves and their families?

https://www.cdc.gov/measles/cases-outbreaks.html Number of measles cases per year. Big spike in 2019. Mostly because vaccination rates are dropping. I would guess due to overconfidence that it has been eliminated altogether when it hasn't. Also the whole anti-vaccs thing that's been going around, like a virus. Funny how that works.

You think being transgender is a choice? Seeking treatment for that condition may be if you even have the option. 'If you are honestly going to tell me you don't know why a person, particularly on an athletics board, would not be in favor of a biological male competing in female sports (lets be honest that's what we're talking about here), then you are either being purposely disingenuous, or you have completely chosen to ignore the other side of this debate. Either way is an issue for you to address, not others.' It seems as if you are uncomfortable making a declaration on the issue. Instead assuming that everyone already knows. We don't. If you feel it could lead to negative outcomes if you were to list possible options. I get it. I mentioned safety. That's always an issue. Regardless of the sport or who is playing. Would I want to see that safety and control is maintained in every sport as we move forward? Yes. I don't see how that is effected by this issue. Especially when we're talking about k-12 kids. There are protocols that are in place(that change and are updated) trans athletes must abide by to compete at different levels. Why would that have to change to compete in k-12 sports? What is the downside? Are you concerned with winning and losing? That kids feel they achieve certain milestones at their age level and this could hinder that? I'm not super jazzed about the idea of kid thinking his/her entire community is against them playing a sport they like with the people, they feel, they associate with and feel most comfortable because of a thing for which they had no control. Numbers of trans people in the country just keep in mind this has echoes of the gay/lesbian panic of the 70's and 80's. People worried that the numbers were growing out of control. History of how congress has treated LGBTQ+ community. You can respond to questions/posts or not. No one is twisting your arm. So please don't try to convince me or yourself that you know or understand my intent. If you must know, my intent is to find out the level of understand on this board, of this issue. I have my opinion as do you. That you feel attacked by my questions or my posts is not my concern. You can address the points as you see fit. But if you're here to converse, lets just stick to that.
