it reminds me of norm macdonald talking about Alec Baldwins trump imitation. He said it wasn't good because people tend to like themsevles, so if you have naked contempt for the person you're imitiating it pulls you out of the bit.

how about the fact that PSU prepares their athletes for individual matches better than anyone in wrestling? And Ferrari has a fairly specific style? how big an advantage is that.

yeah for sure. It was obvious Ferrari was getting better fast his sophmore year, starting to look like he could take out anyone, but to my knowledge he hasn't had a stable training sitution in more than a year. We're supposed to think he passed up brooks in that time?

there is none so we can't talk. From my perspective people keep making up their own definitions for a very simple word and if i was trying to steel man the opposition I'd say you thought i was being simplistic and belligerent.

theyre formed by concensus, which is why the conversation can't move forward. I'm not trying to be ugly about this, but the conversation is going to go nowhere, this is world view type difference and people need almost religious experiences to change their world view.

if they were doing it for racial reasons yes. people should be united by ideas not skin. this is a pretty puritanical take on my part, i'm not trying to embue it with a lot drama, but some ideas are so desctructive that their seeds should be pointed out.

we are moving towards a better way of dealing with each other, I'd just say that this should be done via social pressure, not censorship, legislation or threatening employment.

I think he's defined by his idiotic, bullying, tough guy argumentative style. It basically consists of spamming saracastic remarks that would be sort of menacing in person but he's too dumb to realize it doesn't work on a forum.....he's reminiscent of someone who was like that but i don't remember.
