    That's what I'm thinking... Why else would he decline it if his goal is to be a college coach? Somehow Cael has everyone convinced that being Robin to his Batman is better than taking the leap themselves.

    sounds like Pyles' is well informed and the answer is no. DT took time to discuss with his inner circle, ie Cael, and has decided he's not ready to take it at this point in time. I hope this is incorrect.

    Did some Googling and apparently John Smith's salary was $562k in 2022. Also see Brands signed a contract through 2028-29 that started at $550k per year and tops out at $800k. PSU doesn't release Cael's salary so who knows there. If they offer DT somewhere in that range I can't see him passing on that for a juice bar and a farm he can easily sell. M2 can likely expand to Oklahoma or move.

    Minnow is reporting that the job has been offered to DT. I'm not an Okie State fan, but this would be awesome for the sport imo. Anybody know what John Smith was making? Curious what they can offer him because it's likely going to have to be a "can't say no" offer.

    Yeah, you're probably right. I can see Spencer jumping him if his knees hold up. It always does seem like 65 and 74kg are just incredibly loaded for whatever reason.

    It could be he's unhappy with his recent trials performance. It always seemed like Alirez succeeded despite his training situation, not because of it (although I have no idea who he trains with). He might just want to take the next step if he wants to achieve his goals. If he won the Olympic trials, I wonder if we see him moving on.
