D1 wrestling is hard on the body and wrestling fewer matches helps.
That said, it would be better for fans to have interesting in-season tournaments.
Anyway, I favor what’s best for the wrestlers.
No idea. But it seems like PSU has had starters sit out here and there last month; wrestling at Iowa is pretty demanding travel wise; and they can afford to sit a starter or two.
There are controversial and bad calls in every sport at every level. It’s a good reason to not put too much stock on the results of what is — in the end — a game. Try going outside, or learning a new skill, or reconnecting with your wives, or finally going to therapy.
I’ve suspected for a while that the SEC and Big Ten might withdraw from the NCAA and form their own organization for the purposes of football. They’d essentially have a mini NFL. Not sure what such a potential move might mean for other sports.
There were no world champions in 2020 because of COVID. Olympics got pushed back a year. I can only assume that they'll resume Olympic-year world championships for non-Olympic weights.
I don't see why PSU would redshirt anybody next year given all the talent they have coming in. Lilledahl, Gibson, Sealey, Ryder, the Mirasolas. Plus they have Barr looking tough.

Hidlay (88% bonus)
Keckeisen (83% bonus)
