  1. All the Iowa trolls are out in full force I see.
  2. I posted a rumor I heard on the minnow page. I hope y’all get over it. Bartlett dominated woods. Good job on his part.
  3. In a weird way. Replays should have more content. It’s just digital. Why edit it. Why cut off the front of the meet sometimes. It’s not bound by live tv schedules. There is 0 reason other than like $5 of cloud storage to edit things in that situation. So what if they go 130 minutes instead of 120. streaming is going backwards arg.
  4. I know. Just frustrated. It’s like the streaming services are going backward instead of forward. I loved my TiVo. Ffd through commercials. Etc. also. Iowa got smashed. Yuck. Bartlett showed up. Also. Post season stalling is back. That 3 point takedown and 4 point nf isn’t pushing any more action.
  5. Watching the recording. They skipped forward in the broadcast? Missed all of 165? Wtf.
  6. Cstar may have been stalled out in carver with that performance against Rocco wells (tOSU) too. Both on his feet and that pre post season stall ride on top. Was a Pretty meh match.
  7. Don’t forget the rumor that Bartlett is ducking woods to keep/secure the #1 seed at BIGs and not have to wrestle Jesse Mendes in the semis at big 10s…. Gotta add that prediction.
  8. I’m sure ducking to face a brock hardy in the semis at big 10s vs Mendez is no big deal. Duck city is cool for me but not for thee.
  9. Seeing reports on the minnow page beau at 141 may be ducking woods to protect the #1 seed at big 10s. Any insiders have any info?
  10. Hmmmm. I’ll take your word for it
  11. 1997 they respectively finished: 1, 2, 1, 6, 1, 1, 5, r12, 1, r12 was it easier or harder to get to r12 back then? Obviously the consis were harder to get to cause you had to lose to the person that advanced the farthest….. for example. Brett Lawrence at 133 finished 8th Lost to azevedo who lost to j thompson…. In 1997 he is out of the tourney right? Tough draw btw But he was the 10 seed
  12. I think they had 9 AAs and a r12 that year. I think they did 9AA + r12 some other year as well.
  13. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2024/01/31/tennessee-virginia-ags-suing-ncaa-over-nil-related-recruiting-rules-with-vols-under-investigation/72421368007/#
  14. They would be more likely to roll out someone like barraclough than let him wrestle kot 2 times during the regular season.
  15. For hodge consideration? Correct me if I’m wrong. The peeps on this board will not forget but it will factor in the actual hodge criteria I thought. Don’t forget both 174 and 197 psu have already dodged top 8 or better competition this year already.
  16. Correct/agreed I wrote that backwards. Typo. Doubt I can edit it now lol.
  17. Then there should be less griping about their seeds/rankings at this point.
  18. Psu plays the math razor thin with some of the seeding criteria. If you wrestle a lot more matches and hand the same amount of losses vs someone who wrestles way less. Guess what…. Your seed will suffer. Everyone (most everyone) is in favor of that. Maybe wrestle cklv or some other tourney and look for wins against prominent non big 10 opponents. Would that make these situations easier to seed? I think it typically/usually would. Subjectively using results from another sport like u20 worlds should not be a factor imo. Sure. Most/all of them do well….. but they have to prove they do well before earning the ranking.
  19. I don’t know if he is or isn’t undersized but in 2022 he was wrestling 152 in high school.
  20. Shane liegel wrestled d3. Pretty cool he’s ranked at 16. Would be a cool story if he made the podium.
  21. Fair lol. You win ha. I do believe it will get more and more cpu driven vs human driven over time though. Time will tell
  22. Wonder if anyone with actual human psychology experience would weigh in. (I have zero… other than one psych class a 20 years ago in college). I feel like refs that have the backup of replay just make the easier call then go to the film to review. Knowing they have that causes so many more reviews than necessary. Tempo in wrestling is so much more important than like the nfl or mlb to me. It’s a noticeably different product.
  23. You’re not wrong. Soccer in Europe has offsides called by computer now. Maybe even in the World Cup I think. for the record I prefer pure human refs without challenge bricks or anything else.
