We don’t call stalling enough! (Some people)
how dare they call stalling to end the match! (Other people)
this is why we keep changing the rules to make things more and more complicated……
But does he have losses to 1) Andrew sparks the 9 seed in the bigs and 2) baumann the 10 seed at bigs?
good news is he has a rematch with sparks in round 1 to see if he can avenge that loss.
Have him wrestle more matches during the regular season than one other person in his bracket. Maybe he’ll have a winning % that compares with people that wrestled conference. Other than that go back to seeding committee that we had prior to this. (That was better imo)
Even Carter tweeted he will beat everyone …. bla bla seed doesn’t matter.
Someone gets farked no matter what if he is healthy. I don’t necessarily like him but healthy him beats everyone. You can’t try to make conference matter and let people skip it and not get punished. This can be debated to eternity.
how many psu fans bagged on tnt when 133 submitted late. Rules are rules. They knew wrestling the literal least amount of matches in the bracket ruined their winning %. They knew defaulting twice at conference wrecked that % and ruined their conf finish. They literally scoffed at two of three seeding rules and people are now waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Definition of insanity lol.
we had a human seeding committee not to long ago. People whined so much that sometimes these humans made incorrect decisions and convinced the ncaa to implement a formula. Now we have a formula.
We’re like literally our worst enemy with constant complaining to change the rules super frequently. From the stalling legislation crowd …. To the push out I want freestyle crowd….. to the fix all the qualifier crowd. Seeding sucks crowd etc…… This paragraph wasn’t a reference to you sir John…..
Did he place ahead of anyone seeded above him at conference? With two losses……. Does he have more matches than “ANYONE” in his bracket? How does two losses and the fewest matches in your bracket impact winning %.
What is the point? Someone said or looked empty and made reference to lost potential revenue. You said it was over 11 or 12k. It was 33% empty. Other teams average more for duals than they mustered for the finals of the big 10s.
Last year dual attendance numbers at Carver - Eight home dates, 14,858 average, 118,870 total. With duals against minnesota, Wisconsin, Army West Point, Chattanooga and Purdue…. Among others.
Pretty sure they sell it out if Big 10s are there.
He did limp off mat….. maybe waddled is a good word. (Hamti) I think I asked in the play by play. Couldn’t : can’t tell if it was a real injury or being super tired.
Wow that’s pretty bad and seems 100% intentional. What would they be saying if Mr desanto did this? Cael sitting there like nothing happened. There would be a lynch mob calling for brands head saying he condoned this.
rules for thee….. but not for me.
You should read the psu board with plenty of psu fans griping about how Cstar was not a good teammate.
I’ll wait for team leaders who got hurt and left early. Grab the list outside of Cstar. Who has any other leaders / stars?
fact is he bailed on his team. He bailed as a leader. He bailed to pout on social media looking for attention…… Likely for some upcoming documentary or what not where he hams up I wasn’t gonna go for my fourth…. I was gonna skip NCAAs. (And spoiler he does. And will. And will likely win).
Name others who defaulted out of the tourney and didn’t make the end of tourney to cheer his team on…… or who missed the big team pic when their team won their record 8th big 10 tourney
There are plenty of fans on the psu board complaining Cstar left his teammates. That part is real. The other stuff in this thread I dunno……
Often that little jab at “on the Iowa boards _________ bad things are being discussed but not on the psu boards.
it sure isn’t cool to bail on your teammates….. go on a tantrum in Public…… when your coach is doing the best thing for you.
in 10. 20. 50 years. His teammates will remember this. He will remember this. As a leader. He should have stayed to show the younger people how to grow into being a leader. Leaders don’t run home to twitter and make those vague odd remarks.
